I find it hard to keep track of whether I am listening to past GwJ or present GwJ audio.
I love this part of the GwJ calendar, and the hilarity of bold predictions folding up like a lilo with a slow puncture.
Is it possible in future episodes that you have some twinkly sound effect in the background over the historic conversations, like they do for flashbacks on TV ?

Uh, did I mishear or was one of the predicted names for the new Nintendo Console....The Nintendo...Vore? 0_o (protip - don't Google "Vore")
I'd go for The Nintendo Thrii..
inactive here until further notice.
Perfect. Just what I wanted to point out and a great suggestion.
I would also add my joy at the historic crow served to one another. The predictions shows are my absolute favourites!
Jonathan is in law school now, so sometimes the "nice to have" whizbang effects don't get produced into the show. We do our best!

Of course, we totally appreciate the work that already goes into the show. If anything this serves as a testament to your healthy and fulfilling life choices that you don't all sound 12 months gruffer, grizzled and sozzled on gin.
Much love for Jonathan!
Great intermezzo music!
During the podcast you said Claptrap wasn't in Tales From the Borderlands. That isn't true, you can get him if you do something. He is one of a few people that are optional.

I picked up Tales from the Borderlands in the PSN EU sale. It's very good so far.
Game Informer seemed to really like DOOM in their latest podcast but they do have an exclusive access thing going on.

I may be slightly inclined to give Punch Club a go. #FilthyEnablers
I wish you guys would stop encouraging him.

Tales from the Borderlands is awesome, it was my 2015 GOTY and everyone should play it. 'Nuff said.
And he was awesome.
Neat! Maybe they'll make it fun this time!

Even a cold, dead heart like yours should be able to appreciate the Undead Nightmare DLC. It was masterful.

I second the request for some kind of indication of when we're listening to tapes and when we're back. I definitely understand audio effects might be difficult to swing--maybe next time it would be easier to just say "And we're back!" or something. Even just a longer pause might help. Anyway, it was still fun to hear those old predictions, as well as the many new predictions sure to be horribly wrong.
On the Nintendo NX though, I was confused by the talk about Wii U having rushed to be the "first to market." Wasn't their problem really more that they were last to market with 360/PS3 HD quality graphics? I'm not saying that as some kind of burn on the Wii U, it's just that, for all its good qualities, the Wii U is plainly not competitive with the PS4/XBO. Even before the PS4/XBO launch, their pitch was never "this is next gen graphics, it looks so much better than PS3/360," it was "hey if you haven't played Mass Effect or Batman, and you want a Nintendo console, you can play those on that, and it'll be more or less as good as the current gen versions!" They weren't trying to be first, they were just trying to avoid being lapped.
In any case, I would agree that Nintendo should not (and will not) rush a console to market, and I hope that whatever their new concept is, they have the killer app that demonstrates its value at launch, like they did with the Wii (Wii Sports) rather than with the Wii U (Super Mario Maker coming three years after launch). I'm okay with them continuing to set their sights low on power and aim for innovation. As someone who hasn't owned a 3DS, I'd love it if whatever portable aspect ends up getting implemented is something that will allow me to play the 3DS games I've been missing.

Is it wrong that I absolutely adore Elysium's new avatar?
I don't know, it seems a little gauche to me, you know? It's not like Elysia made it in secret, emailed it to me and then I changed his avatar. That's pure Sean "Game King" Sands and I think this whole mess has gone to his head.
It's my fault, really. I coined the term and encouraged it and now he won't even deign to allow us to lay eyes on him during show recordings. He says his royal countenance is not for mere peasants to gaze upon outside of ceremonial occasions. We're still not sure which ceremonies he has in mind.

I'm guessing His Royal Highness is referring to Rabbitcon?
If more people took responsibility for their predictions, the world would be a better place.
Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for the podcast.
Should I dust off my capering suit?
I never did get a callback after that interview, by the way.

I would be very tempted by a $700 bundle if it included a Morpheus and PS4 since I don't have a PS4.

Damn. Didn't know Punch Club was on iOS. Enjoyed the hell out of it though.
Yep, I ended up with Claptrap in my playthrough. Also, if you didn't try to get Felix in the end of the game, you're missing out on something interesting.
Tales from the Borderlands was #2 on my list for 2015 games I finished in 2015... Just behind Soma.
Always one of my favourite episodes of the year. This one was a marathon!

Probably ones involving rants and wild gesticulations.
