ClockworkHouse presents SallyNasty's Game Club Announcements "Where the Games come monthly, but the cheevos are forever!"

Congrats on six months of game clubbing!

Wow! Now am definitely gonna have to play in them all.

This thread brought to you by ClockworkHouse and SallyNasty.

Which reminds me - Sally, if I sponsor your thread, will you sponsor mine? We should get some co-sponsorship deals going until we're funding each other enough to merge into a monopoly. And then no one would be able to stop us! Games, and no stopping! We could call it GameStop.

Wow, a month just flies by! I don't think I'll be able to get in on Thief at this point since I haven't even had an hour in front of my PS3. Oh well :(.

Next game should be Mario Sunshine

Sadly I missed the early days of this due to lots of busy times on my part but I'll do what I can to jump in with the next game that catches my interest. Thanks for centralizing these.

Will try and keep better pace of this.

Love to have you play with us, Chris.

Hoy, why didn't you announce the creation of this thread in another thread? I can't keep up!

Demon's Souls and Bloodborne are two of my favourite games. I could see a lite iteration being an interesting experience. I was close to picking up Lords of the Fallen when it first released, so perhaps it's time to pull the trigger.

I think I saw Sally mention Dishonored as another potential choice. Awesome! I've been meaning to get around to that. It was gifted to me on Steam quite some time ago - thank you, concentric - so maybe it is time to get the PC back in action.

I was looking at Darksiders 2 as it's on sale. Is that one a lot of folks have already played?

I suggested Darksiders 2 as a future club game, but Sally said he thinks it's too open world.

Moreso than the first, yes, but I believe it can be beaten in a month.

I think the concern is more with gating content and making sure everyone is playing the same thing at the same time. You can do that with a chapter-based game, but it's much harder to do with an open one.

But wouldn't you be able to break Darksiders up into temples or dungeons or whatever?

The real question is - is Darksiders good?

You are doing God's work, Damnable.

No one ever said being DB was easy.

I'd say that right there is the real reason to not do a Darksiders game.

Technically you could break it up into dungeons or sections. There are three major areas in the game that you could dedicate a week to, theoretically (if memory serves).

Hey gang, so we have Lords of the Fallen for next month and I am thinking ahead for March. Right now we have discussed Dishonored, which is great, but another game came up as a possibility - Dying Light. March is when Dark Souls 3 comes out and I assume people will want to play that. I like to give people as much time in advance to get a copy of a game - what are you all thinking you would rather do in March/April?

Spoiler - Dishonored and Dying light will be our next two games, I am more asking in what order you want to play:)

April.

I'll be out for Dishonored and Dying Light as 1) I recently played Dishonored, and 2) I believe I'm saving Dying Light for a co-op run with a friend. I'll be here in spirit, though! And, WOO! Dark Souls 3!

If be in for Dishonored when that goes for my first game club play along. Don't currently have Dying Light

I'm in for Dishonored and would prefer it to not overlap with prime souls time.

Shall we gather for whiskey and cigars in March?

Indeed, I think we shall.

Sir, I just wanted to congratulate you for finishing Lords of the Fallen.

do you think you'll get your own squad after that achievement?

I'm ALWAYS up for an excuse to replay dishonored.

ALWAYS.

This. And I picked up the PS4 version recently so gotta give myself more reason to play it sooner rather than later! And do that DLC!

I pushed hard for Dishonored as the game for March, but Sally said no.

SEND US DISHONORED NOT DYING LIGHT
