Fallout 4 Catch-All 2.0

I love the Fallout series but would rather see Bethesda put all that time and energy into Starfield console mod support and the next Elder Scrolls.

I don't think this Fallout 4 patch would exist if it had affected either of those efforts. Different teams. Bethesda has 450 developers (as of a few months ago), 250 of which are still on Starfield.

I guess, if that article is true that I see any point to the update except to rekindle interest.

I suspect it's more of an improvement on consoles than on PC.

I never played any of the fallout series but was looking forward to trying 4. Widescreen support is really a joke. It stretches the UI and looks terrible, as well as not supporting 32:9. I run at 5120x1440. When you get to the part of the game where you enter your name, it's cutoff the bottom of the screen. I could not get past that part. Definitely a half-assed release but I'm hoping they fix it.

Its half ass, I agree. But also one of the reasons why I went to one of the 32 inch 4k OLEDs. The ultrawides were starting to get a little annoying. But now, due to using ultrawide for so long, my eyes see the screen as a little convex lol.

Search Nexus mods for a wide screen mod. I know they have one or a hundred.

I was doing some research and there are a few. All come with some quirks so I'm hoping Bethesda fixes their official update. Might be a pipe dream but a guy can hope

I have the HP Odyssey G9 Neo. When widescreen doesn't work, I'm ok with black bars on the side of the screen. However, when it does work, it's glorious! The immersion into gaming is great. I'll deal with the quirks and cross my fingers that as time goes on, there are less and less of them.
