Of course I go up against the top scoring team the week I'm hit the hardest with byes.

Last remaining undefeated team just checking in.
(I'm enjoying it while I can, up against #2 in the league this week...)

Damn, four points broke my undefeated record. THANKS FOR NOTHING ADRIAN PETERSON.
All of us in the Dynasty league hear your cries and can only reply with this:

That team confuses the sh*t out of me. I was looking forward to a nice high draft pick next year but Devonta Freeman happened. Funny thing is, I'm not even using my best quarterback. I've got the fifth best QB (points-wise) sitting on my bench while I regularly start the 20th because my brain won't let me start Bortles over Brees.

Nooooo. My roster change didn't occur yesterday! FFFUUDDDGGGGE.
Pro is five years old. Karmajay has won it thrice, including back-to-back as of today. Does that qualify as a dynasty? -- Grumpicus

No idea if this is what happened to you, but in this age of things just saving on every form element change, I find myself forgetting to click "save changes" (on various forms that require it, not just FF) more and more often.
Well, I knew I was going to be busy this morning so i made the change on my phone at the state fair yesterday but it was spotty and I thought it went through. I guess its my fault for not rechecking but since it was fracking Mike Evans it pisses me off.

I looked at roster around 11 am made sure there were no injuries, but apparently I forgot to check bye weeks.

No matter what I do at QB in Pro, it seems I'm doomed. Peyton Manning a total dud. I start Mariota week 6 and he sucks it up and gets hurt. McCown this week, same story. Am I personally cursing these QBs to do poorly? Should I quit fantasy football? Starting to feel bad if my aura of bad fantasy mojo might be hurting guys careers.
Well, Manning and McCown shouldn't in any way be considered fantasy starters. Manning is dead and McCown plays for the Browns which means he's going to be nothing but inconsistent. Plus, he's a McCown.
Mariota is a rookie so he is best as a #2 this year. He'll be back next week.
Please don't start him though, I need him to produce for me. K, thanks.

You're not alone. Screaming Mimis in D2 started four players on bye.
You just waited a bit too long. Blake Bortles was sitting on the waiver wire all the way up to Week 5 when I scooped him up.

I certainly did, I think I felt a little too comfortable with Mariota there after he put up a few good performances and I was irrationally holding out hope that Manning would somehow turn it around against some of those awful defenses he was facing. Also, I'm used to streaming QB but I always fail to take into account the roster depth in this league. I have 4 other leagues with 6 man benches and there's almost always someone servicable on the wire to stream on a weekly basis.
Yeah, deep rosters definitely make the QB stream more of a challenge.
Often I'll only have 2 QBs on my roster, but this year, I am carrying 3 QBs in all 4 of my GWJ leagues. There's quite a bit of turmoil at the QB position this year. Luck and Manning have gone from rock solid starters to guys you can't really rely on to start so far. Romo and Roethlisberger have missed time to injury, with replacement players who are completely fantasy irrelevant. Wilson has gone from #3 PPG last year to beneath Brian Hoyer so far in 2015. Kaepernick cannot be trusted at all even as a #2. Tannehill is hot and cold.
So that has me and I imagine other people dipping into the QB pool more strongly and holding onto QB3s to keep options open. Other than Aaron Rodgers on my Dynasty team, I honestly don't think I have a QB that I can point to and confidently say, "that guy is my starter." Shoot, I have Andy Dalton in Keeper, #3 overall QB so far, and I'm still just shaking and waiting for the shoe to drop on him.

The only two leagues where I'm comfortable this year are the ones where I have Tom Brady and Carson Palmer. The rest is a crap shoot. Tannehill is my bane (although I'm 7-0 in that league) because he's juuuust good enough for me to start every week but I always am let down that there was a streaming option who could have done better for me.
I thought I was getting a great deal in Pro on Manning and thus didn't even draft a backup. Whoops. I hate carrying backup QBs, but lesson learned.
