Does the 0-0 indicate I got all the picks wrong (which I think I did) or that the site didn't have any picks from me?

Just received this email:

As the three co-founders of DraftKings, we want to speak to you directly about what has been going on.

We know that you play DraftKings because it's fun and because it gives you a chance to showcase your skills against millions of other fans, and we know that you cannot do that without a level playing field.

The fairness and integrity of our contests has been at the heart of everything we have built since we started the company three and a half years ago.

Over the past week, questions have arisen around an employee of ours who won a significant prize on a competitor's site. While our internal investigation has reflected absolutely no wrongdoing on his part, this has still pushed us to reevaluate our processes.

Long before this happened, the wheels were in motion for an external review of our policies and procedures. Given the pace of our growth, we felt that an audit was critical to ensure the security of our platform, so we hired an external law firm experienced with these issues to conduct a full review.

But that is not enough. In addition to this audit, we have put in place a set of core measures that we believe are central to this process:
We expanded our existing policy prohibiting DraftKings employees from playing on our site to prohibit participation in any public daily fantasy sports contests for money.

We also will prohibit employees from any other Daily Fantasy Sports contest operator from participating in games on DraftKings.

We are actively reviewing our organizational structure and will add resources to ensure compliance with all recommendations stemming from internal and external findings.

We are working with multiple third parties to strengthen all internal policies and procedures.
The events of the past week have caused us to take a broader look and to ask those both here and externally to widen the scope of their analysis of our business.

We are aware that there is room for growth, regardless of the strength of our current platform. We will work tirelessly to improve all aspects of our customer experience, which is every bit as important to us as the effort we put into our product.

You will no doubt continue to hear from the media about both DraftKings and the industry. It is our prerogative to keep driving that conversation ourselves. We will work to respond to your concerns in complete transparency and to inform you of the steps we are taking to inspire your full trust.

Please know how grateful we are for the passion and loyalty you have shown DraftKings throughout our history and especially over the past week. You remain our greatest priority.

Thank you,

Jason Robins, Matt Kalish & Paul Liberman
Co-Founders, DraftKings

What's really funny is that garion plays on FanDuel.

I'm waiting for SNL to spoof the ubiquitous FanDuel/DraftKings ads in the wake of the controversy.

I'm also waiting for the gov'ment to crush this sh*t faster than they crushed online poker before I was old enough to play for real. Just vindictive, is all.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jacksonville Jaguars
New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles: Philadelphia Eagles
Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals: Cincinnati Bengals
Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans: Buffalo Bills
Pittsburgh Steelers at San Diego Chargers: Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers at San Diego Chargers: Pittsburgh Steelers

A bunch of stabbing in the dark this week.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jacksonville Jaguars
New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles: Philadelphia Eagles
Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals: Cincinnati Bengals
Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans: Buffalo Bills
Pittsburgh Steelers at San Diego Chargers: Pittsburgh Steelers

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Home field advantage on this one gives them the edge. I hope.
New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles: Philadelphia Eagles - Philly sux. But not as bad as NO.
Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals: Cincinnati Bengals - Something has to give for one of these teams, but Cincy at home? I'll take it. Geno Atkins is gonna eat up Seattle's Oline.
Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans: Buffalo Bills - Man, I want to take the Titans, but Buffalo is the more complete team here. Gotta imagine Rex is gonna mess with Mariota's mind.
Pittsburgh Steelers at San Diego Chargers: San Diego Chargers - This game is a push. SD quietly sucks on D and the Steelers are still starting Vick.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - I think Tampa at home should be able to pull this one out. It's like guessing which turd will slide down the side of the bowl faster. Battle of FL goes to TB.

New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles: Philadelphia Eagles - Sam Bradford showed a heartbeat last week, and though Brees is back, I don't feel like him and Ingrahm are going to be enough. I'd expect Philly to toss the bound around on a pretty awful secondary for a close win. Not to sure though.

Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals: Cincinnati Bengals - Cincinnati creates deep penetration. The Seahawks OL allows deep penetration, and only escaped my hapless Lions with some help from the refs last week(nice punch by Kam though). I think the reality of what an elite line can do to the Seahawks's weakened wall is going to be very apparent in this game, and with the way Dalton has been playing, Cincinnati should be able to drum up some points. I hope historical Andy is still on vacation.

Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans: Buffalo Bills - While I do see the potential for Super Mariota to upset the Bills, I have to err on the side of caution here and go with Vegas' slight lean towards the bills.

Pittsburgh Steelers at San Diego Chargers: Pittsburgh Steelers - San Diego's front 7 cannot and will not be able to deal with Le' Veon Bell. Given PIT's key injuries and the fact that it's at home, I can see this going in SD's favor, but in reality, they have an abysmall defense, and Bell will move upfield at will on them. I may get burned, but I'm taking the Mike Vick-led Steelers.

Making sure to get my picks in this week:
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jacksonville Jaguars
New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles: New Orleans Saints
Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals: Seattle Seahawks
Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans: Tennessee Titans
Pittsburgh Steelers at San Diego Chargers: Pittsburgh Steelers

I'm tied for 3rd place! I think that is the best I have ever done this far into the season.

Legion, do we need to keep posting picks in the threads or is the site working pretty well?

Trying to keep the 3-2 streak alive, no idea.

Giants tight end Daniel Fells could lose a foot to MRSA. This has been a really bad season for extremities on that team.

Jags
Eagles
Bengals
Bills
Steelers

Man that sucks. Have there been many cases of MRSA in hospitals like have occurred in multiple NFL training rooms? I don't see how someone gets it from a cortisone shot unless the doctor/nurse is not using correct hygiene procedures.

I think after this week, we're good.

Remember Winston's idiotic fumble in the bowl game against Oregon? He just surpassed that, trying to pass the ball away while being sacked and throwing it actually backwards for a fumble. Turns out he was just barely down so it wasn't actually a turnover, but that may literally have been the singly dumbest thing I have ever seen a QB do. The "Josh McCown pick-six vs. Carolina last year" .gif has been defeated.

sh*tf*ck.

Um, the Browns TE caught the ball with his ass. Play of the year.

It seems wrong that someone in the WAS/ATL game is going to get to call this game a win.

I give up.

So, we aren't the worst in Florida, at least!

EDIT1: Am I posting this too soon?

Gary Barnidge... FROM LOUISVILLE!

Now that is insult to injury. Freaking Chiefs.

Well, Bortles did *his* job at least.
