US Soccer Catch-All

Mehhhhhh.

One thing to lose to Jamaica, another to be fairly handily outplayed by them.

That said, issa friendly.

Better than losing to T&T in a do-or-die game...

Too soon!

Still waiting for Josh Sargent to break out and convert those chances...

Big headline today is that he's not in the Gold Cup squad. I assume that was planned. He, Pulisic, and Adams are the three young players I feel the most confident about.

I'm disappointed but not surprised. He's promising but has a long way to go.

That's funny right there, I don't care who you are.

Good news is women start tomorrow so we'll see some wins

Uff. I just watched the "high" lights of the Venezuela match, if that's what you'd call them. That first goal was awful on so many levels.

I just noticed that they start the Gold Cup against Guyana here in St. Paul next week. Tickets are running under $100 on Stub Hub, after fees. I'm tempted, but after watching those highlights, I'm not sure I'm tempted enough.

I'll bet they drop as the game gets closer.

I was wondering about that. There appear to be a lot of tickets available. I'm not that interested in paying $100 to see the match, but if it got down to the $70-75 range I might bite. I'll keep an eye on them, maybe make a decision at the last minute.

Tyler Adams is out from the Gold Cup squad.

This tournament could go badly for the USMNT.
