The season opens tonight at the partially renovated Wrigley Field.
Are the Cubbies for real? Will they get more real once Kris Bryant is called up in 3 weeks?
Can the Padres sign or trade for every major leaguer? (They just added Kimbrel and Melvin Upton this afternoon.)
Are the Nationals going to steamroll the NL East?
Can the Red Sox go worst to first again?
Will Yankee fans forgive A-Rod after he hits his first home run?
Is this the year the Mariners end their playoff drought?
Can Tito deliver on the promise of the Indians?
Will Matt Harvey be dominant again?
All these questions and many more will be answered over the next 162 games and six months.
Baseball's back, baby!
Yeah!!!
Here's hoping the Mariners make it to the playoffs. That would be a great victory in itself.
Will Yankee fans forgive A-Rod after he hits his first home run?
Of course they will! Hopefully it won't be against the Rays tomorrow!
Tough feelings for a Rays fan. New manager and a lot of turn around plus we already have some injuries. I don't really like to see improvement in offensive numbers for the team this year.
Cards win. Same ol' Cubs!
Great way to start the season.
This just in, with last night's game in the books, the Phillies have officially been eliminated from post-season contention.
#gonnabealongseason
Same ol' Cubs!
Now with added bathroom issues. Could be worse; at least it was the lines backing up and not the toilets a la the Oakland Coliseum.

And with a ton of your biggest rival's fans in the house, too. Is this a ploy to get fan support for a new stadium?
Re: the Mets fan joke - probably the most cuttingly accurate one McFarland's ever made.
Oops I was looking at my old schedule. Rays play Os today.
Hey, at least Rizzo got that clutch walk to keep my fantasy team above .000 in OBP.
Another calendar day, another Rays injury.
Sonny Gray gives up only 1 hit!
Hopefully he can keep it going all season. Last year he struggled down the stretch.

Right, my Nationals have forgotten how to play baseball. I think they are cursed because they've been picked to win it all like 3 years in a row.
O's... eh. They're at least putting up a fight. Stupid Yankees...
Re: the Mets fan joke - probably the most cuttingly accurate one McFarland's ever made.
I still love this joke, and post it to one of my friend's Facebook on Opening Day of every year - he's a die hard Mets fan, and hates himself for it.
Rays win 4 in a row. Amazing what you can do when you aren't losing players during every game!
Y'know, I overheard someone in the office making the claim that Ichiro isn't a HoFer today.
They're an idiot, right? I think they're a honking great idiot. Am I wrong?

They're an idiot. He's a first ballot hall-of-famer without question. Broke the hits record, represented a team, represented a country, multi-time all-star, multi-silver slugger, twice batting champion, 10 gold gloves, and an MVP. If he's not in the HoF right away then no one deserves to be in.

And all that after having a star-quality career in Japan to begin with.
Can I remind people how I hate "retaliation beaning"? Chris Archer has a bad inning and hits 2 batters. No reason he would do it on purpose. Next at bat Longoria gets beaned in the hip and has to come out of the game. BS!
Speaking of which, Ubaldo Jimenez was ejected in the middle of a no-hitter attempt after plunking Pablo Sandoval.
Can we just start calling Tim Lincecum "the poor man's Joseph Gordon-Levitt"?

I was going to, but then I got high.
