Sentinels aren't particularly good in ME1, but ME1's combat is completely borked anyway, so that doesn't matter in the least. In ME3, I found Kaidan immensely useful being both remarkably tough and a capable power combo machine. I liked Liara, Garrus, Thane, and Tali all better as romance partners, but that's just personal preference, I suppose. They're all beasts on the battlefield, though none of them were as, um, flexible as Kaidan.

Oh he was flexible when and where it counted. Besides, Garrus had reach, not flexibility.
Anyhow, I wasn't talking about gameplay in ME1, just from a RP perspective. I think we can all agree that even though ME was a great game, it's gameplay lacked the polish the later games had.

Coming from a five day round-the-clock-work-frenzy and finally having some time off AND discovering the nod to my little no-buying-(in)sanity thread gives me a warm feeling in my guttiwuts. Thanks for that. Funnily enough it comes exactly at a time that I caved a bit (as mentioned in the thread). But all in all things are going kinda good. Also, Ori was a blast. I regret nothing (there go the justifications again )
