For those following along at home, I play the character Umberto, IT guy at a University. Thanks to Teneman and wife, I now am an owner of a sapphire colored cube with the Ravenwood Castle golden seal!

Apologies also, to not have made the Hilton gathering and meet more "good people"

Never made it out to the 2014 GenCon, but I plan to come to the 2016.

More on the report back of the MCG Cypher System maybe another time, but I can say volunteering at the booth and as a GM was a great experience.

My first (and possibly only for the forseeable future at least, damn international flight costs) Gencon was a great experience. Thanks to the guys in the Hilton room on the Friday/Saturday for making me welcome and to the hardcore who were up to the end Saturday night. Made my Sunday True Dungeon run a little painful but I thoroughly enjoyed myself for the whole event.

We didn't know if we were going to make Gencon until early July, so I never popped in to the thread. The conference room was a blast and thank you so much, Charlie, for pulling that all together. You are a master.

I hope to make it for more than 42 hours next year. Getting in at 8pm on Friday really just meant I got very little sleep.

Thanks for hosting the room Charlie! My son and I had a lot of fun playing late at night in the room (we never really shifted from West Coast time). My first Gencon was quite overwhelming, but I came home with a suitcase full of loot, and ready to try some new games on people.

For those who missed GenCon

My week was super packed with a bunch of MCG events, so I wasn't expecting to drop by the meet up. I did get to chat with Tekman and Teneman, which was awesome. I'm thinking that next year I'll see if there's interest in a Numenera game at the GWJ meetup. Now that I've got convention games under my belt, I'm not terribly concerned about doing even more of them.
