Tales from the Borderlands (Telltale)

RE: Romance.

Spoiler:

I actually appreciate the lack of romances in the game. We've been so conditioned to expect it because it's eeeeeverywhere and its actually kind of a distraction from the connections characters make that are more nuanced. Like you can tell there's a connection there, and it's actually something more complex than typical plot/story driven romance. There are bonds made and relationships developed with different strengths, and I find that tension is ultimately refreshing and rewarding.

Besides,

Spoiler:

Fiona's love interest dies in Episode 4

.

That episode does have the best opening sequence, though.

I am partial to Episode 2's. Thats the one with the slow motion crash sequence. So good.

I think my favorite is episode three. The songs just speaks to me, and I love that montage of them all traveling together. And them playing a Borderlands version of DnD is priceless.

A bit off topic but the DLC for Borderlands 2 that is a D&D campaign DM'd by Tiny Tina is also amazing. You think it's all jokes and craziness until the end when you learn that there's a bit more meaning.

Oooh, I'd missed that because I got BL2 fatigue big time and never got the DLC! Thanks for that tidbit!!

It's the best DLC of the whole bunch, 1 or 2. Also contains Dark Souls references.

So, I realize I'm a bit late to the party but just beat this. I loved every minute of it! Definitely a great series that I would highly recommend.

But late than never! It always warms my heart to see someone else enjoying my 2015 GOTY!!!

I finished this a couple of weeks ago. So much fun. I actually rationed it out so I could enjoy it longer. And it DID get me to finish the BL2 main campaign and keep on with with the DLC. I'm in the middle of the Hammerlock campaign and am saving Tiny Tina for last.

Yes! I think episode 4 has a perfect opening sequence. I was literally laughing out loud at the perfect animation on all of the character's facial expressions. Besides being hilarious, it also really built up my excitement for what was coming in the final acts of the game.

Wrong thread... nothing to see here.

I'm thinkin' you've arisen the wrong thread.
