Holy cow this game is amazing! I got my sorceress to 50 and she's a beast! Did a couple of the chaos dungeons tonight as well as the first guardian raid. Challenging and takes skill (which makes it a lot better than just sitting there clicking buttons and facetanking).
This game just has so much content it's amazing. It's a great game as a "starter" MMO as well. They really do a good job explaining the systems and getting you familiar with the classes.

Don't panic if you switch characters and don't see the guild, in Lost Ark guilds are per character, not per account, and limited to relatively small sizes; do not fret, Ranalin has you covered via 'GWJ Alts'
It also seems that the guild size grows with guild levels... once we all get high enough level to do the activities it should level up to accept more

The game has a weird invite mechanic... it require both parties to be online at the same time, and has a time limit.
Do a search for 'Gamerswith Jobs' and request an invite and it queues up and i can accept it readily from there.

Yeah, took me a minute to figure out how to search guilds, but found it late last night and sent an invite. Will the UI tell me if my initial request timed out?

Naw it stays there... The manual invite i do times out

The good morning one hour before the delay announcement on Twitter made me laugh.
It appears any new FTP players will be barred from creating characters on Avesta for the immediate future. Did not see a length the pre-launch servers will be locked for new accounts so prepare to possibly have to xfer over at a later date or reroll to Avesta server when the lock for FTP people lifts.
In New World free xfers were granted 1 time after about a month if I recall.
But hey, 3 days of crystalline aura for free!

Looking forward to eventually having time to load this up. I tried last night, but servers were down. Busy for most of today. Might be able to give it a go later.

I am not a fan of this approach at all. I understand that everyone hates queues, but segmenting friends from being able to join friends really puts a damper on the mood. This was a major complaint with New World and from what I've read so far, there are no server transfers in the immediate future. Seems like there has to be a better solution.
Man I am just so Sorc its not even funny. I spent the point to unlock the second rank powers for the first fire skill. Now it rolls out forward and then fans sideways to make a square of burnination. It is so much fun right now.
I'm experiencing class envy but don't want to replay the opening gauntlet of lame fetch quests again and again lol. Gonna stick with the Scrapper since she has pretty simple mechanics before moving on to the Deathblade, who looks so incredibly sexy.
Deathblade is a lot of fun but squishy. All that means is that you will need to use more health potions but that seems to be no biggie so far. (apparently you are only supposed to save the %hp healing pots for end game)
You inspired me to fire up my deathblade. It is a lot of fun with very quick and interesting attacks.
I've been very much enjoying the sharpshooter. Lots of bow and arrow slaughter.
So, what server am I supposed to be on if I want to play with GWJ?

Bulk of us are on Avesta.

I think they're 'feathering' the amount of folks getting in. At least for Avesta we were the smallest full size server and i know of at least 8 people who joined since they were 'locked down'

I take back my comments made earlier. I was in a poor mood. I was able to just now get a character created and will be sending a guild invite shortly. Apologies for ill timed moods!

My friend got into Avesta today. Got to 50 and unlocked a lot of the 50+ stuff, learned a bunch. Still a million questions, things to do. I want to try the martial artist. I don’t really mind the simple linear quests. It is like every other MMMO just less bother. We meet more people, move on, there are plenty of completion items and game systems to spend time on.
So the primary guild is full. You start with only 30 spots, but this increases as the guild levels up. Now that we know a bit more about what's going on we'll be in a good position to start finishing up our weekly quests which give us good chunks of xp.
Not sure if 'Gamerswith Jobs' is still searchable with it being full, but if it is you can put in a request and i'll start going down the list with first come first served as we grow.
There's also the 'GWJ Alts' guild if you want a place holder in the time being.
