I laughed when I saw "Liefeld's" in the trailer.
I'm planning to see this in the theater.
When "Like a Prayer" started playing I laughed. Wondering what Reynolds was going to do with the rumored real meaning of that song.
No one is safe from this film.
I laughed out loud when I spotted that. Also took a screenshot but you beat me to it, you bastard.
But I'll show you! I'm gonna post it anyway!
What's the story behind the name?
Thank you. I have no idea what they are talking about.

Actually this one is a better explanation: https://screenrant.com/deadpool-wolv...
If you don't want to click, deadpool creator and long-time Marvel artist Rob Leifeld was notorious for posing characters and using obstructing scenery to avoid having to draw feet, because he wasn't good at it (or anatomy in general, to be honest). So naming the store "Leifeld's Just Feet" is poking fun at his reputation for it.
Here’s one you definitely should click: Liefeld explanation

That is top draw to be honest

It's simultaneously accurate and extremely generous to call Leifeld Deadpool's "creator."
Talk about feet all you want, but he draws magnificent breasts.
WhatCulture does a breakdown of all the easter eggs in the trailer.
Liefeld is also referenced in Deadpool 2.
"I mean luck? What conked up glass pipe sucker came up with that little chestnut. Probably a guy who can't draw feet!"
I think it's unfair. Liefeld isn't good at drawing anything.
Also, no shade on Domino, who is very cool, but Longshot already had luck as a power. I don't approve of the suggestion that Claremont was on crack, but in fairness, as a writer there's a good chance he couldn't draw feet.
Stop trying to make 90's comics make sense.
Talk about feet all you want, but he draws magnificent breasts.
I learned very recently that this image was patterned off a Schwarzenegger picture.
So it makes anatomical sense if the character is in a totally different pose.

I mean, I guess good for Rob not being a f*ckin' tracer.
Oh my was that a teenaged Casey Affleck in that clip?

I'm so old.

Funny you should say. That clip pokes fun at comic book inkers as if they simply rely on the pencilers and require no talent of their own (which is wildly wrong).
And Liefeld is both a penciler and an inker.
Buuut he's also kind of notorious for tracing other people's art.

Mostly I just wanted to share the clip (yes, that's Casey).
Some of the one's on the link definitely seem traced, but others seem like homages/redraws vs straight trace.
I always liked the blantant-ness of this one by Greg Land.
Is this becoming our airing of least favorite Marvel artists?
Can I nominate Chris Bachalo and John Romita Jr?
Watched Civil War with my son for movie night tonight and it remains epic.
Cap Forever.
This thread is for marvel movies not A24 films. And the caps they were wearing didn't stay on forever. Only like one person was wearing a cap.
So you're saying... no cap?
Marvel has started putting their logo and character art on cases of Coca-Cola. I'm going to hear the MCU theme every time I open the fridge.
X-Men '97
That was a whole lot of violence and gore that never would have flown with the Fox Kids Network back in the day.
