Marvel Media (Spoiler Thread)

It's a good joke, but I don't think it applies to Loki.

Sylvie was a fun character, but I don't think she overtook Loki in appeal, and as far as I know Hiddleston has no plans on retiring from the role and he has season 2 coming.

100% the case for Black Widow though.

Probably Hawkeye too whether Renner wants to continue on or not...

She definitely didn't overtake Loki in audience appeal, just in plot relevance. From the moment she showed up on screen, she was the one driving the plot forward and the titular character was reduced to a bit of a hanger on to her story.

Besides, everyone knows gater Loki was the main character.

Just like Pizza Dog is the main character in Hawkeye

Did this somehow not get posted, or did I just miss it?

They've got a way out of having him around for season 2 if they want based on the comic.

Yep.

So, I started watching Hit Monkey. Expectations were a bit low after MODOK and the premise is bananas (not even a little sorry) but my wife and I are loving it 5 episodes in.

10 minutes in and Shangi-Chi's action is already the best in all of the MCU.

Edit: 20 minutes in (bus scene) and it's the best MCU movie this side of Iron Man.

It's sooooo good.

The bus fight scene is the best non-super fight (really overall fight) in the MCU. But I grew up loving Jackie Chan movies and I think there is some lineage there with the choreographer.

Here a video featuring two of the action designers of the film. They talk a bit about the many influences in the action sequences.
