Star Wars Rebels Catch-All

And then that happened*. Three part series finale next week!

Spoiler:

* = And will happen.

Holy holy stuff. Be careful of spoilers because things go down. Super crazy things that tie back to the clone wars. The feels, the action, the chopper, and the force. The force is with you.

Whoa.

Sooo good!

And because it deserves to be said again:
TLJ pushed me away yet Rebels pulled me back in. Why you be like that Disney?

FFS this is f*cking nuts and what Ezra discovered has me super scared someone else (meaning a writer) will use it down the line.

Yeah, this week's episodes didn't really resonate with me (or maybe I didn't understand). It was filled with a lot of weirdness. Nice to know why we see how she lived, but I'm not sure it really moved anything forward.

Watch rebels recon about the episode.

I think the end of that episode means that it can never be used again.

Thanks for that. It helped a lot. I never finished watching Clone Wars.

Kids and I just got caught up. I'm getting bruises from getting punched in the feels so much. Love what they're doing with this season!

Not really up on the new canon comic book stuff, but...

Spoiler:

Did Asoka need to live for other reasons? I thought this two part episode make little sense, and I especially liked Asoka discovering Vader was her old master only to die in a confrontation with him.

Spoiler:

1.) We knew she was alive at the end of the second episode
2.) To answer your first question, it's because she's f*cking baller.

Need to rewatch that. You mean 4.2, or the second episode of the second half of the season?

I mean the very end of the last episode of that season after phoenix gets away.

I am going to miss this show. I hope the new series is searching for... what they should be searching for.

That was a very SW wrap up.

y'all need to watch the last few episodes because there are things that need said.

I teared up when we were introduced to...

Spoiler:

...Jacen Syndulla.

Producer and actor comments on the finale, including who was actually the voice of C1-10p.

I wasn't as happy with these episodes as the previous episodes. Still liked the episodes overall and it had some real good moments with Ezra.

Spoiler:

Ezra dropped Thrawn.

Ezra. dropped. Thrawn. On his own.

That's crazier than Hera and Kanan's kid.

They really kicked up the art budget. Some of the shots in the last few episodes were gorgeous and epic. Yes, it was a very Star Wars ending, but I am A-OK with that. It is what I needed/wanted. Bravo! Hopefully, Disney keeps the animation storyline(s) going in the future, as I think I am checked out of the cinema storyline(s).

so so good!

This is how one creates a Star Wars story with agency... Skip 7 seconds in.

Oh and.. Confirmed. (Spoilers)

Loved it. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

For those of you who want one last cry all over again:

Finally caught up. Can't believe it's over.

Was hoping for a scene of Rogue One crossover at least but oh well.

Next animated series to be Star Wars Resistance.

Set in what is described by the company as an “uncharted time frame prior to The Force Awakens,” the “anime-inspired” Resistance will follow a young pilot named Kazuda Xiono, recruited by General Leia Organa’s burgeoning Resistance for a top-secret surveillance mission to survey the growing power of the First Order. The series will focus on Kazuda and a cast of ace pilots, but will also feature familiar faces from the sequel trilogy in the form of BB-8, Poe Dameron, and Captain Phasma, with both Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie reprising their respective roles for the series.
