RTP goodjers! Come wish Louziffer a fond farewell!

I misread the thread title as RIP Goodjers! And thought someone had died for a second, but this is much better, phew. But anyways good luck LouZiffer! You'll need it if my childhood road trips are any indication. ;)

You probably weren't traveling in a 40 foot trailer. You barely even know you're on the road; you can actually get up and walk to the bathroom. The driving part is as high stress as ever, so swapping is a good idea, but being a passenger is extremely luxurious.

My mother didn't buy an RV until we were all in our twenties, but as kids, we'd probably have set up with the Nintendo in the back bedroom and had a fabulous time on the road. None of the 'stop touching me!' nonsense... you can split kids up into different rooms if necessary.

Lou, when you get to the Baltimore area, send us a tell. Would love to see you.

Thanks to Yellek and Quintin Stone for hosting. It was great to visit and ask hundreds of questions about Lou's adventure. I get nervous driving my wife's RAV4, so I'm unlikely to pack the family into an RV any time soon. Super fascinating stuff, though. Happy travels!
