Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition - All Consoles - Who's playing

I landed about a half dozen gifts last night, hope you all get something nice and shiny!

I hit 45 on the wizard's master campaign and suddenly remembered the stash-full of loot out there from my crusader's rift exploits. One weapon happens to be a sword at around 2000 or so damage with a "level requirement reduced by 20" property. I'm also running the Moonlight Ward necklace:

Hitting an enemy within 15 yards has a chance to ward you with shards of Arcane energy that explode when enemies get close, dealing 280% weapon damage as Arcane to enemies within 15 yards.

To suggest that complete, utter, game-breakingly destructive chaos followed would be a massive understatement. With lightning armor active, I'm just walking forward to dead monsters and piles of gold. If something does happen to make it on-screen it melts with any signature attack, and if a pack of bad things spawns (I.e. A cursed chest) and something manages to actually hit me, cue hallelujah chorus. Bosses? With Archon activated they last 10-15 seconds.

Woot, I was gifted Mirrorball. Now if only I looked at from who. I think it was Stric9

I just looked at the player list and someone changed CptGlantons name to something less than nice. Who's the wise guy? LOL

Started a Crusader yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying it.

I am trying to get through Hardcore as one, they are fun. I like playing him as a commander, spawning warriors all over the place and running around on my horse.

I've found hit holds up nicely, too. I hit 61 last night and I'm still having lots of fun.

Well, couldn't resist and bought this for the long weekend. As somebody who never really got all the marrow out of D3 back in the day, I'm having a lot of fun. There are a lot of quality of life improvements, and I've gotten a ton more legendaries than I ever did on PC.

Added my name to the list, and will add folks when I get home, because it sounds like you want to have a lot of friends in this game.

Which platform? What's your XBL/PSN?

Ah, sorry, I took it out of my sig a while ago. I'm on PS4, and I'm BlandishedHatman.

Me, obviously.

Yesterday I played on the computer after spending a week playing on the PS4. I missed a lot of things - the zoomed in view, the instant item comparison, the "double damage!" prompts. The PS4 also felt more exact, but that's probably because I'm playing a crusader (and a monk or barbarian on the computer).

I haven't done multiplayer yet, since I'm still working my way through the story, so I can unlock Adventure mode.

It's okay - you're in a safe place here, you can say it...Diablo 3 feels better and is more fun on a console than on a PC.

Laying only the couch, pressing buttons instead of clicking...it's everything I want from Diablo.

This is truth. I like D3 on PC but I love it on a console. There are a few things I miss, like seeing clickable links when friends find legendaries, but the amount we gain is way superior. Once we have Grifts and legendary gems I can't me see ever wanting to play the PC version instead.

Can a nemesis spawn on hardcore games? That sounds really flipping evil.

I'm not sure but I was playing last night, still leveling and am on expert and kinda OP at this point so usually just mowing things down. A nemesis popped and was just kicking my butt! Those things are for real.

I am halfway through act v on hardcore and have not seen a nemesis. In contrast I see them almost every session when I play my other toons.

I only saw one nemesis in all V acts. The jerk killed me to.

Malphael on expert is giving my level 68 Crusader fits. It's more like a WoW boss than anything else in the game, with zones of death that can sometimes be hard to stay out of. I am sure I'll beat him tomorrow but wanted to get it done tonight.

I thought Malthael was stupid easy once I realized that I needed to be slightly patient and move out of the zones of death. I mean, they're incredibly easy to avoid.

Actually, I find most boss battles incredibly easy in D3, except for Diablo who I find incredibly boring due to length of the battle(s).

Maybe not always?

Will be running a few infernal machines tonight on PS4 if you are t3/t4 geared 70 and wanna join. Myself (tanky Barb) and friend NinjaBean (crusader) which a couple of you have played with have enough keys for 4 i believe. (cobble, glanton off the top of my head) probably around 7pm EST.

What up homies! Finally joined GWJ after Cobble and HappytimeHarry shared the site with me. I play D3 nearly every night for a few hours – look forward to playing with some new people.

Current chars:
• Crusader, 70 @T2/T3/T4
• Wizard, 1 (ha)

Ding 70 on Wizard to go along with Crusader. Thinking of a Demon Hunter next.

I'm honestly not digging the demon hunter, but I am trying to get to 70 anyway to get the achievement.

Quick question. What are the tiers people speak of?

I finished story on Hardcore!!! Now the hard grind to 70!

Haha, GF lives with me so she has to suffer through it. Actually might not happen tonight since NinjaBean has errands to run, maybe this weekend in between moving. We just figure it's better bang for the buck if we get at least 3 to use these keys, hopefully people will get the drops.

Did a little work on the Wiz last night and got her to 30 with Harry. I'll be crushin' some T3 / T4 (on crusader) tonight if anyone would like to join.

We're talking about the gas clouds, right?

Maybe I was kitted out more for movement, but I found it beyond easy to move away from them when they were slowly coming my direction. I had to be willing to not take any shots at him while moving out of their way, but he would then come to me so it didn't really matter.

The other stuff he shot out hit hard, but if you weren't being drained in a dust cloud I found it didn't wipe me. *shrugs*

Okay, even though I got bored of D3 when it first came out after a single play through on normal, following this thread has made me dive in and buy it for PS4. Anyone still noobish or low level enough to want to do some coop this weekend? Add me on PSN! Warriorpoet897.
