Steam Summer 2014 Sale - I think we're done here, right?

I've purchased Icewind Dale from GOG, and I'm obsessing over Wasteland 2. That's more than enough games for me at a time when I'm also preparing to release a feature film and planning a wedding.

So I can't possible imagine a situation where I'll be tempted. Not even remotely.

Place your bets on what the steam game sale event will be.

Will it be any part of the following:

A) Craft badges to get summer post cards (much like last summer/winter sales)
B) Something Achievement based (two summers ago)
C) Something linked to doing activities in big picture mode
D) Something linked to doing things in steam OS
E) Something with Groups
F) Special Summer gaming events in participating games (DOTA, TF2)
G) Special Summer Cosmetic Items in games (Like previous Winter Sale)
H) They create something else new to profiles to craft
I) Something else

If we can get the list up to 24, we'll have to make bingo cards.

The heat index here is 96 F as I type this, so I beg to differ.

Tagging for gifting purposes.

With this thread, I should be able to make the pile big enough to suffocate under.

And I still subscribed. ┐(^-^; )┌

And so it begins... school's out, my bike is all tuned, and suddenly there's a summer sale thread. Nice.

I live to serve.

Time to sell some steam cards.

I love that little dude, right down to his little broken chin strap. Really enjoyed the movie, too.

I've almost completely eradicated my random impulse buying, as I just know I won't actually play things and have such a large list of unused keys, let alone unplayed games. That said, there are certain wishlisted games I'd break for. I really should pull my finger out and gather the 'List of the Unclaimed' to get with the gifting.

I was trying to save up for a new console.

We'll see how this goes.

J) Something to do with home streaming.
K) Something to do with music streaming.
L) Half-Life 3 :p

I must not fear.
Steam Sale is the wallet-killer.
Steam Sale is the little-death that brings total annihilation.
I will face the Sale.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the Sale has gone there will be nothing left to buy....only I will remain.

Summer vacation and Steam sale in a month. Summer Sale is the best sale!

My body is ready.

Not part of the summer sale but I am really tempted to get MK. It's been more than 10 years since I last played one.

I am... not prepared for this.

My pile is big enough and my wallet small enough that I might try going the "gifting-only" route this time around. Although I've got a ridiculously long wishlist, so I suggest that I'll break that rule within hours.

Already pre-loaded my Steam wallet using credit card rewards. Gotta feed the monkey.

I almost didn't click that video parody but I'm glad I did. That was hilarious and a well done cover.

Oh yeah, sorry, this was about the steam sale. Well, at least its on my tracker now!

Time to clear out my wishlist, because you dirty poopers can't leave it alone.

Well, I won't be buying games this year.. Well, I want to hold until Sept 1st.

That will be rough.

Ah, the steam sale is coming. I could use some extra cash...anyone want a kidney? "Like" new!

Feel free to abuse mine, people.

When Sept 1st gets here, you'll be down on your knees screaming "Why didn't I buy during the Steam Summer sale?! WHY?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!"

What a perfect time to be unemployed!

...actually, it kind of is when you think about it.

Those of you saying it's not summer yet need to come visit Southern Arizona.

Here, I'll save you a click:

EDIT: and KEn, that's disgusting, I bet that humidity is just killer.

Most of my wishlist is inexpensive indie games. I'd like to give more than I get and will be happy not getting at all (the pile!).

But, I'm not very scared this time around. I want few games at the moment.

According to the Steam app I already own 249 games anyway.

YOU HAVE ENOUGH GAMES TO PLAY!

IT'S NEVER ENOUGH! NEEEEEEEEVVVVVEEEERRRRRR!!!

Looks like I picked the wrong time of year to give up impulse purchases.
