Don't try Rick & Morty then.

I have looked into it, it wasn't annoying... just not engaging.

Well, that explains it. You are just broken inside.

Tonight! Midnight! First two episodes!

Although it may be midnight pacific.

So... maybe I'll check tomorrow.

Ha! Sucks to be you! Some of use are functional alcoholics on MTN time who work from home, and thus have no bed time! First first first!

Edit: I wasn't dubious or anything, as much as wondering if I was just Done with Community, but it turns out No, no I am not. And holy sh*t morphology shocker at the end of episode 1.

Oh, cool. These episodes are starting. I've been looking forward to this!

SpacePolice, as a dad with a necessary for survival bedtime, I'm envious. Glad to read your positive impressions! I'll get to watch this by the weekend, maybe.

That was the best

Spoiler:

"montage of sorries"

in the history of montages.

So do new episodes come out weekly? I'm not sure if I prefer the weekly format or a Netflix-esque dump 'em all at once approach.

I'm just wondering how long I need to keep the Yahoo Screen app on my Apple TV homescreen.

They've only released two episodes so far, so it looks like a weekly thing.

Hmmm... looks like there's a Yahoo Screen App for Samsung Smart TVs, so I may be able to use that instead of hooking up my laptop.

Yeah every Tues they release a new one. Just did two this first week.

I enjoyed them both this morning.
I miss Troy and now Shirley but it's great seeing the general weirdness creep back in.

Great introductions to new characters. Great episodes. I don't see them bringing in new viewers. Like last season's finale, this is the show wrapped up into itself more than it usually is. But considering how many times I've watch seasons 1-3,5, it's wonderful for me. And looks there'll be an interesting Britta storyline and it won't be the worst.

Dipping into the well of ladders and VCR repair classes that were only briefly mentioned, but definitely were callbacks to previous episodes. Love it.

I can't remember the last time I laughed out loud watching a show. Thank you Community, and welcome back.

I felt a little sad when the crew was talking about Shirley leaving to take care of her father...

Spoiler:

And then massively confused when the fake-ad for the NBC show starring Shirley played at the end of the episode.

Remember when this was a show about a bunch of friends in community college?

Always was and always will be a show about Dan Harmon dealing with living as Dan Harmon.

Was that a picture of Dan Harmon behind the bar in the first episode? And the Dean running in VR was laugh out loud funny.

Yup! It said something like, "Do not serve this man."

That was a weak episode.

Kind of weird to have a City College episode without their dean.

I did enjoy the Jeff-Dean text bit.

Agreed. Maybe since shows often go big for their 100th episode they thought, "Nah, we'll just have Britta crap herself." Her running around in the background was pretty great, though.

Wow, Karate Kid.

I cannot get screen to work for me and it is very frustrating.

Well the usual suspects are still uploading an episode on torrent sites every Tues if you just want to see it.

But I've been using Chrome (with adblock extension) on Win 7 and having no problems, and also no commercials through the Yahoo Screen site. Been a very pleasant experience so far.

Although apparently some people are having problems.

There's an app for Roku, iOS, and Android. Have you tried any of those?

I wondered if Mantzoukas might be the more grounded, wry straight man for a change. That'd be cool eventually, but I'm pleased it wasn't so in this case.

I use Chrome with AdBlock on Windows 7, but instead of skipping commercials, I get a black screen trying to load commercials forever. So I turn off AdBlock and get the same thing.

*edit* Fixed the problem.

I hope no baby birds were harmed in the process.

I can't watch these shows with the browser video. It hitches every 5-10 seconds and is aggravating. I made it through 2 episodes, but this is too unpleasant. I guess I'll wait for the Blu-ray? Anyone use an app that gives a smooth 24 fps or 30 fps stream?

"Where I come from, when you accuse someone you better have evidence or he better be a minority." Ouch.
