I can't count the reasons I should stay, One by one they all just fade away. Community S6! #andamovie

I think it's partially because I find Annie's character annoying, but I don't like it when they explore the "love" angles. To me the show is funniest in friendship and hijinks. If they never mention anyone having a crush on anyone ever again* (should more eps get made) I would be more than happy.

*This does not include the Dean. The Dean is hilarious in every way.

This.

Seconded. Plus I wanna see that GIF again. Soooooo pretty!

Hey, I can think what I think. Not asking you to agree.

Nope. Annie is like the Barenaked Ladies.

I never thought I would genuinely identify with Jeff. Color me shocked.

Was just a tease.

I actually partially agree--I quite like Annie when she is not pining for Jeff, but it's quite grating when she does.

Well sure, because I want her all to myself.

QFT

I understand the need to cater to shippers, every show does it. The fact that the Community has largely ignored it this season makes this latter instance feel out of place. Still, worse things have happened, and the way it was resolved did not leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I also feel this story line has a lot to do with Dan Harmon's own thoughts about marriage as of late. The pressure of getting married increases immensely as you age, and some people happen to find themselves in less than optimal relationships because of it. Jeff and Britta in particular.

But that's just the bubbling on the surface. As far as I'm concerned this last episode was about recognizing your feelings for others, and having the strength not to act on them. We learn to assuage our impulses and move on. I think that's a lesson we've all learned at some point in life.

I was gonna respond to this but I thought better of it.

It gives me some solace that they all died like they lived: in an asteroid impact that killed all of humanity.

Sad news but... I think I'm okay with it being done. It had a great run.

On the one hand,

On the other hand, we got five seasons of a show with almost hilariously low ratings for its timeslot. You could do worse.

I'm sad too, but I think I'm ok with it ending also.

Can we still have the TV movie where the gang rescues Troy (and Levar Burton) from pirates?

Don't cry just yet. This show has "revived by Netflix" written all over it.

Apparently, there is an existing Hulu syndication deal in place that makes a pickup by Netflix or Amazon unlikely.

And that's canon.

It's time to fill NBC corporate headquarters with lava!

God dammit, time to paintball those motherf*ckers. After I'm done crying in my blanket fort.

Honestly the final season was a fairly solid end cap for me. Though really it's never recaptured what I loved about the first season so I was pretty okay if it was renewed or canceled.

I, for one, am NOT okay with it being cancelled. Boooooooooooo.

So you may like this news. Hulu may pick it up.

And maybe Firefly will get a 2nd season!

Sorry, I've learned to be pessimistic.
