Minnesota Board Game Night at Johnvanjim's - Friday, August 16th, 6:30 PM until late)

I should be able to make it as well. Did you make it to GenCon this year, John? any new games?

I did pick up a few things, but nothing immediate and required:
Descent/Mage Wars/Lord of the Rings/Netrunner/Last Night on Earth expansions
Robotech Tactics (pre-order, will be delivered in a few months)

I'm going to attempt to have Artemis up and running on all the touchscreen devices in the house for tonight, and I've got some games of Flashpoint Fire Rescue (New scenarios/characters) and Risk Legacy (ready for first game!) all prepped, but can easily swap them for other things. It was a good year for trying things out, but I'm somewhat restrained in my buying habits. I didn't see too much that was significantly better than what I've already got on a shelf..

Dang, going to have to miss it. The wife is out of hemisphere in London at the moment, so on kid duty.

And last weekend of renaissance festival, so will be there till late.

No worries, have some fun at the 'fest (had a blast there a few weekends back) and hangin' with the kiddos!

Bump - Just a heads-up, this is coming up on Friday, should you have some free time and a desire to game, come on over!

I'll be in Texass visiting friends. Maybe November or December I'll stop making excuses not to make it....

I was really hoping to make it, but I have a paper to finish. (stupid procrastination) Hopefully, in the next month or so I'll be able to make it.

No worries, if interested and open, swing by when we have one (for everyone else, tonight is open!)

Have some other commitments myself, so see you next month.

Bump for this event coming up on this Friday, to move things out of the holiday weekend. Anyone that's around and wants to avoid the cold and play some games, you know what to do!

And another excuse why I can't play with you fine Gwjers......a friend of mine started a Star Wars rpg campaign and we are playing this Friday....

Excuses, excuses! (Seriously though, go have fun!)

Hmmm, let me clear it with the wife, but my DM now has to work out of town Fri/Sat so I might be able to make it after all

Have evening plans, but might stop by later, depending on energy level.

I'll call those definite maybe's then..

Wife approved, but had a long day at work and drained. Let me see how I feel in a bit and I might make it after all.

Thanks for a great game of Firefly last night, gents! I think we all learned a valuable lesson... bounties don't pay...

Heh, that or more accurately "Bounties don't pay.. if you don't go looking for 'em!"

Updated with January date, see y'all (hopefully) on the 30th!

Company annual winter party.....normally would skip out on it to game but kinda being pressured to go since I'll be recieving my 15 year service award.

I have Bob Mould tickets at First Avenue that night, which will take precedence.

BOB MOULD AT FIRST AVENUE.

Sorry. That required some enthusiastic shouting.

WHO?

No competition, no problem!

Just a heads-up, this Friday night is open game night in the Belching Beagle Brewpub (ie. my basement..) Lemme know if you're able to make it!

Bumpitty bump, coming up Friday.

I picked up a copy of Dead of Winter and will have that prepped for sometime this evening. Also, we're having a bit of a scotch tasting event that night if you're interested.

Pizzas and beverages will hit the table as well, hope to see ya there.

I'll be there; I just picked up Castles of Mad King Ludwig. I also can bring a scotch, even.

Hooray!

d'oh! I wanted to pick that up. Better than Suburbia? Also really interested in Dead of Winter.

Can't be there, on call this weekend. I picked up Pictomania, will try to bring it to the next meetup. Also am really into Doomtown: reloaded at the moment.

Hard to be better than Suburbia, which is still maybe my favorite game. Shows up tomorrow, will report on King Ludwig, but BGG reviews make it seem pretty dang goo.

Had fun with Dead of Winter, saw you guys playing some King of New York and Castles of King Ludwig (how did that turn out?) and of course, Cards Against Humanity was great!

Fun time!
