Nudge for Friday, games in the basement (instead of water..)

Should have told me that before my sump pump failed last weekend and my basement basically got utterly destroyed by water. NOT HELPFUL.

Anyhoo . . . out for tonight due to other plans, I'll get there at some point.

I'm a coming - mr. blue

Out for tonight.
Should be in next month.

I’ll be there

Arg, foiled again. Not like I have a free weekend for the next month anyway.
Maybe in August.

Bump/reminder for Friday night, last chance to game over here before GenCon!

Going to do something absolutely crazy and actually make it this time.

My god! Dan's going to make it? Is it that bi-annual time of year already?!

Seriously though, bump for game night tonight, 6:30, pizzas will be on order, games will be played, beer/whisky/soda will be imbibed, fun will be had!

Well if I were to actually make it, it would be end times.....

Lol's, well Rains, you've got another chance to miss this Friday!

And miss it I shall....opening weekend of Renaissance Festival and I am working Friday night.(not open to public Friday night, but we still have craft shop owners who stay in their boots and employees that camp in the campground and gotta make sure they all behave)

We were thinking of heading over there on Sunday, might hit Valleyfair instead and avoid the crowds for the first weekend..

Crowds are not so bad until after State Fair is over, then it really gets busy. Also, if you do decide to come out, traffic is going to be worse than normal. They have the old entrance off 169 permanently closed. So you'll have to go one exit further south to the new overpass they built and then cut back on the new frontage road they built. Eventually highway 41 will be replaced by an overpass as well.

Unfortunately, we have guests from out of town staying with us so I can't make it tonight. Have fun!

I thought they were on the verge of closing or moving the Ren Fair due to the land being converted for other use.

Originally fracking sand was found on the land and so the original lease was ended early, now fracking sand is not as valuable as fracking is not occurring in the US so much any more.

Lease is extended through next year, and that will be the 50th anniversary on that site. They have land purchased in Jordan by the County Fair grounds. 2021 is supposed to be the first year on the new site.

unfortunately spent all my husband capital on gaming during the week, so have to be with the fam. But eager to here about GenCon and drunk Steve and Ryan stories next time.

You gotta come to GenCon next year Indy! (Might be handy having a Doc around.. lord knows..)
