Minnesota Board Game Night at Johnvanjim's - Friday, February 28th, 6:30 PM until late)

Have to miss this one, have plans on Friday.

I should be there tonight

I'm in.

Docjoe: Gotta be nice! Hey, if it pays the bills, and lets you do more of what you want, how bad can it be?

Dan: Sorry ya can't make it, rain check!

Se everyone else around 6:30+, I just got Captain Sonar, and some other new GenCon games still, but whatever the group chooses is fine by me!

John really sorry but had to bail at the last minute, was 5 minutes from your house when my wife called to come pick up my sick daughter. Will try to make the next one!

Thanks John for being such a generous and welcoming host. Your place is awesome. Everybody was really friendly and I felt right at home. I'll definitely attend again!

Is anyone else excited about Seafall? Thinking of ordering it if I can find anyone else interested in playing.

I've cooled on it due to middling reviews. It sounds like a lot of work to get to the enjoyment, but maybe worth a try. I just worry that you'll never get it played all the way through.

Agreed. I really loved Risk/Pandemic Legacy but the original group that played the first few games disbanded and now I'm not sure I'll ever talk anybody else into jumping in to an in progress campaign. Seems to have a ton of potential though...

You're always welcome to bring a legacy game if you want to get a little progress on it, I appreciate the incremental changes over a single game as well as the overarching campaign..

Also, FRIDAY! Heads-up!

I got the new Arkham Horror LCG. It's sooo good. Card game version of mansions of madness essentially. I'll bring it for 4 player co-op

I'll bring beer from the new local brewery and just play everybody else's games.

I'm in. Nothing to bring though.

Thanks for coming everyone, hope you had some fun with the PSVR (was pretty damn cool watching you guys just "get it").

Loved the Arkham Horror LCG, that's welcome to hit the table anytime!! (That and I'd love to get Lord of the Rings on the table again too, similar system, so storylike!)

Sorry you guys didn't have a great time with Shadowrun Crossfire, but I can see how it feels losing a game right out the gate. It feels great when it all comes together.

Not sure where my last post went (hello ether!) but this Friday is game night, for those of you who want to have a little fun to end up the sh*tshow of a year that 2016 turned out to be, swing on over!

Picked up One Night Ultimate Werewolf and The Big Book of Madness, I'll bring them along.

I may bring Patchwork.

Cool! see y'all tonight!

You have a knack for picking my call weekends
Have fun, see you in 2017!

Sorry Indy, next time! Thanks for those who made it, it was great getting another Mansions of Madness game in, some Death Angel card game hit the table too, and Networks looked like a complicated pile of awesomeness!

I'm updating the post to show the next game night (Fri, Jan 27th), hope everyone can make it!

*drags thread to the top of the forums*

I'll be there with The Big Book Of Madness (played it once, pretty enjoyable), maybe Lost Cities for some two-player action.

My phone autocorrected "Lost" to "Moist" there which wow kind of changed the context of the latter half of that sentence.

I dunno, I'd play me some "Moist Cities" (sewage engineering/worker placement?)

I was thinking maybe like Sim City, but exclusively for the red light districts of certain municipalities.

Coming with Joking Hazard and some others

Jumping in on this for future purposes. I get up to the Cities for work approximately 3-5 weeks a year. Are they always on Fridays? If it works out to get together with some TC GWJers and play some board games and or grab a beer, that would be great. I am not below bribing my way in with some Madison-area beers or homebrew!

They're usually on Fridays, although not always on the last of the month.. Newcomers are always welcome, and I try and get the date updated (in the header) right after the last game night finishes.

Thanks to everyone who came! We got some Book of Madness on the table (thanks Dan!), Mansions of Madness (thanks Indy) where I believe the party got eaten, Spartacus, Death Angel (Card game, TPW) and probably more that I missed.. Good times!

Posted a date change to March 10th, just a heads-up... again..

Board game or BotW.
Ok, I guess Zelda can be Saturday.
I'm in.

I'll be there. Not sure if I'll bring anything to play, but that somehow rarely seems to be an issue.

Hate to change at the last minute, but I'm currently struggling to deal with mass quantities of mucus and sneezing (seen Ghostbusters 2 anyone?)

Going to delay this one final time (*pinkie swear*) to avoid spreading the black death around, set to next Friday.. Sorry for making of mess of anyone's plans, but trust me.. you don't want this cold.
