Rick and Morty - Look At Me!!

I'm of the theory that the Ricks severely limit the number of universes they can go to, maybe to those that already contain (or contained) a Rick. Otherwise there's a good chance of portaling to a universe with different physical laws, or that never had the big bang happen, etc.

Aye, but the portal gun isn't exclusively limited to traveling to different dimensions. It can also warp through general space within the same dimension. It's only true limitation (from what we've seen thus far) is time.

Though in a truly infinite universe there are an infinite-subset of universes where everything came to be exactly like the Universe they're in but N years previous. Which wouldn't technically be time travel but would effectively be time travel.

True, and I'd be surprised if we didn't see that come into play at some point in the show's lifetime, but I'm talking purely about the flow of time in any given dimension being unreversable.

VINDICATORS 3, Y'ALL - WHO'S SEEN IT?

Spoiler:

So hot diggedy damn we get Blackout Rick pulling some nihilistic Saw sh*t. Some of the best of Drunk Rick being his worst. Favorite joke goes to Morty defusing the Neutrino Bomb.

"Whoa, uh, how many of those have you had to defuse, Mort-"
"TOO MANY, RICK! TOO MANY!"

I enjoyed it.

I love how "smart" Morty is getting. Also, I'm pretty sure that was Gillian Jacobs as the star lady.

I thought the same thing and then there she was in the credits.

It seems like Morty is taking on the arguably better aspects of Rick. Specifically his "Don't f*ck with my family" trait that killed King Jellybean.

And he's learning a lot. He repaired and operated that machine on his own.

I think the animators are trying to give us at least 1 ball-tripping psychedelic scene per season, but we've still got the rest of the season ahead of us, and I hope I'm proven wrong with 1 or 2 more.

Rick and Morty: Save your acid money, we broadcast this sh*t for free.

Did this last episode go at 100 mph for anyone else? I was physically tired by the end.

I think Morty's dialogue was going 100 mph (Unleash the Morty), but otherwise I managed to hang on pretty well. The cold open was definitely going pretty quick, but I suppose that's what happens when you abridge a 6-week adventure down to 2 minutes.

I've never been super big on these Pop figurines, though this one does seem pretty cool. Only one I've ever bought was a lil' Jesus Quintana (from The Big Lebowski) with the intent of pinning him down to my dashboard as a little Dashboard Jesus.

6 day adventure wasn't it?
Good episode.

That's crazy. Funny and super depressing.

This is now the anthem of this thread.

The prank call is kind of mean-spirited. Yeah, Joel Osteen is a piece of sh*t and I hate religion, but who knows about that woman? She's silly for following Osteen, but still.

The election episode.
That was a bloody episode but I guess all of them are bloody.

Also you can't keep a

down.

The Creepy Morty was very creepy. Also Rick going on and on about him and Morty getting mermaid puss was creepy.

I liked the episode overall. Nice to have a episode without Rick and Morty but with a lot of Ricks and Mortys.

Holy sh*t. I really like the direction the show is taking this season.

What an awesome episode! Definitely my favorite of the season. Show just keeps getting better and better.

Spoiler:

Love the return of Evil Morty. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

What an episode!

Spoiler:

Also, if you're wondering what kind of resistance that trench coat Rick might put up, well, he's floating behind campaign manager Morty in the closing sequence.

Holy moly, what an episode! Each of the Ricks and Mortys were incredibly distinct, and that hodge-podge of references was solid, from Willy Wonka to Stand By Me to Training Day. The ending speech was gorram perfect and I'm excited to see where this leads the rest of the season!

The Ricklantis Mixup was just brilliant. Finally had time to watch it last night and can't wait to watch it again.

So as Rick and Morty fans, I recommend if you have a friend who has a VR headset that you try Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality. For the $30 price tag it is a bit short, so if they do not own it chip in a couple bucks. But as fans, it is a fun and decent VR experience.

"If we can kill our enemies but we can't jack them off, how are we better than them?"

Favorite quote from the series yet.

"Everything's crooked! Reality is poison! I wanna go back! I hate this!"

I have to say that I'm loving that we're getting more Summer and Beth this season. From the start of the season we've had more development and action for Summer ("Wow, Scenario 4?"), and the preview for next week has got me hyped for a Rick and Beth episode. Goodness knows I don't take this show for granite.

My favorite thing about the writing of those characters is that they use them to make Rick, Morty, and Jerry the butt of the jokes. That's much more interesting than having them kick ass. In some ways, this was kinda the best Summer episode ever even though she had brief screen time.

Who am I kidding. Something Ricked This Way Comes is the best Summer episode.
