I got a Beta invite last night and along with it are 2 friend codes. If anybody wants one just let me know!

I would love a code!

1 to go

I'd like one as well if there's no one else. But I'll be honest - I'm not the most avid MMO player (although that may change I suppose), so there may be better people to give it to.

I'll definitely take it if you're passing

What I'll use the key for is to get a feel for the game and if I'll enjoy it enough to even consider investing in subs for it. So I'm not in a hurry to get in, I'll get my chance eventually (there will be an open beta, right?). On 1 to 10 I want a key at around 3. So if you think you want it more than that - you take it :).

When it comes to MMOs I start at 6 (when they're non NA) and go up from there

Well then. I hope you enjoy W* :).

If/when I get an email i'll give you one if you're not already in.

liquid qualified for the second key but gave it to up ranalin in true Goodjer fashion, so both keys are now gone.

If in the future I recieve any friend keys, I will be sure to share here as well

Well lets hope that I get one in my email.

If not, I would definitely like to try this one out when someone gets a spare key.

Saw this at NYCC this past year and really interested in trying it out. If anyone has a spare key I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

How does one get a beta key for this?

Anyone have a spare?

Apparently filling out the survey monkey survey listed at the end of their videos will help...

But I haven't had any luck and they seem to be really closely guarding them for how finished the product is and seemingly not far from release.

I'll ride the coat tails of fang and Ranalin for an MMO any day. I'll take a key if anyone gets extras.

I submitted for participation in the Beta at the Wildstar website (about 2 weeks ago, haven't heard anything).

While I am interested in this game I am increasingly indifferent to playing any game in an early Beta

I've been in one stress test weekend and throughly enjoyed the experience. If anyone does come up with an extra key I'd like the opportunity to explore some more.

A friend of mine from WoW (which RNG tricked me into re-subbing for) turned me onto this and I checked out the game site today... and now I'm intrigued. I guess include me in the interested in trying if spare keys are laying about.

As a healer, I'm curious (was actually surprised engineer wasn't also a healer, really). Medic sounds interesting in being a mobile healer who relies on AOE healing to get things done. Kind of reminds me of running around dropping totems in WoW on my Shaman. Kind of sad there's not a class that can be specced to heal or tank like a Paladin or Druid though... that would have been a lot of fun, as up until I quit, I was trying to make a Paladin raid worthy in both fields for flexibility.

The Paths feature also sounds interesting from what I've been able to read about it. I like the idea of being able to choose to be an explorer on one character for additional leveling sources. Then switching around to science or soldier for an alt and experiencing another set of new quests/activities to level with.

One concern I DO have though is 40-man guilds. I get that they want to go after "hardcore" raiders with these... but I was one during the switch from Vanilla to Burning Crusade... and 25 man was a GODSEND for those who were leading raid teams at that time. The burden on our raid leader, our guild leader/DPS leader, and myself (healing leader) was immense by the end of Vanilla that we actually jumped ship out of our old guild and got into a new one to just raid without responsibility, where amusingly, we were promoted to almost exactly the same positions within a few months, and even with bosses with tougher and more complicated mechanics, leading a raid 2/3 the size was so much more enjoyable, while 10 mans became somewhat personal affairs where we were basically a circle of friends within the guild running them. Hopefully options will be available there to have different scales of raids for different rewards if not at launch, then soon after.

Releasing, supposedly within a few months, I suspect this is pretty far along actually. Especially if they're doing stress test weekends. My experience with other MMO betas has generally been that by the time THIS is reached, some bugs may still be found, but they're minor... and let's face it, what would an MMO be without bugs to be fixed?

The engineer is the healer/tank plus pet and sorta shapeshifting class.

Wait. Beta keys have been going out? I've gotta check my spam folder.

Is it? Their own website only suggests DPS/Tank. Hmmm... clearly I need to find more sources of information. Any good websites for builds, talents, spells and such out there yet?

Part 1 of Engineer Livestream (all the class livestreams are really good)

You get healing from one of your pets and I believe. And I think there are dropped turret like things that pulse heal in a small radius.

Sounds more like support healing that would be good for leveling than quite so much for raiding, where your DPS would be king... though maybe useful depending on the number of "necessary" tanking skills versus the number of open slots at max level... which after getting through the Livestream... ehhh, hard to say, will be interesting to see for sure.

Engi is tank/dps.

Bots may do different type of shields, but pretty sure there's no healing involved

According to what we saw in the Engineer Stream, the Repair bot heals shields, not your health. This will still give you more survivability, but I don't think its enough to qualify as a real heal.

I am really impressed of the Wildstar Beta. I got three Beta invites, but just need one, probably i will post them in a giveaway thread or i will trade them for an origin or steam game ;D

I will gladly buy you Guardians of Graxia for a key. And since I'm such a nice guy, I'll even upgrade it to include the map pack!

They really need to open up this beta a bit more

I'd be interested in that type of trade.

I was thinking of buying him TF2 or Dota 2 in exchange for a beta key. That seemed more equal.

*giggle*

For the record they're supposed to be handing out friend keys more and more as time goes on.

Yeah, I want to get in and see the game, but... not that much when bills are coming due and I'm trying to work on either a new computer... or losing all will power and buying a Vita and/or 3DS.
