So it's Titanfall. Since this is an alpha, let's hope this is sorted before release. My playing this game is contingent on being able to play with friends. Also... I'm downloading it now, so I guess we'll see.

This is very slimmed down shell that allows 10 people to play on 2 maps. That's about it.

There will be some kind of party support. There has to be given the nature of the game.

The Ubisoft forums are broken, so I guess the proper way to submit feedback is via reddit. Weird.

They worked earlier today.

Got mine too. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Wait, wrong game.

I can't believe this game doesn't have a "quit" button yet. Alpha indeed!

So I finally got home last night and was able to install. I haven't played it yet but I was able to set it up.

Part of me is glad this is a legit alpha.

No quit button (alt+f4 works).
Windowed is an option but the other option is __________. Just assume that's full screen because it is.
Scroll wheel doesn't work in the menus yet.
No video options outside of resolution.

I'm excited to play and see what the core gameplay is like =)

lol you may be too late if you haven't yet because I think it ends in about 2 minutes.

lol, noooooo.

That would crush me. I got my invite about 15 minutes into my arrival in Chicago which lasted until shortly before my post last night.

Ah well. Hopefully I'll be in other alpha/beta rounds.

Ahaha, I am crushed. It's gone out of uplay. I guess I need to delete it manually? Nice moves, Ubi.

It was obviously alpha, and I will probably be buying it on the first day for MP alone.

We'll see how much polish it gets between now and then.

Country vs. country MP matches?

October 13 release date.

[Edit: CA$80 on Steam‽ Interest neutralized.]

Cinematic trailer:

I wish this was coming out sooner so it's not so close to Black Ops 3. From everything I have read, I will be getting both no matter what but I don't want to have one go by the wayside.

People.

Hey. People.

HEY.

Terrorist Hunt.

Terrorist Hunt!

Hey alright, a game mode that lasts longer than 3 minutes max so that you can actually have some tension build.

Terrorist Hunt in R6: Vegas 2 was a mode Spikeout and I played until it was ingrained in our subconscious. It was that damn good! So, this game now has my attention.

Yeah forgot to run over here yesterday to post about this.

Pretty much had to wipe myself off after watching the E3 demo. Ubisoft just secured another pre-order.

EDIT: cool kids call it TERROHUNT

I played R6: Vegas 2 campaign for about 5 minutes. I think we dabbled with the competitive multiplayer for a game or two. Terrorist Hunt saw hundreds of hours.

I remember we were on the prowl for a new co-op game. We were about to get Army of Two. Literally, we had the game case in our hands. Unsure about its pedigree we headed over to a magazine store and looked up the game review index at the back. Army of Two had mixed scores, nothing amazing. So we got R6: Vegas 2 instead, as it scored better. Thank the heavens!

Between the reveal of terrorist hunt for this and the trailer for Ghost Recon (and then also For Honor) it was like Ubi was just like "Hey, let's make several games for this one particular person" and that person is me.

LOL. I thought Ubisoft knocked it out of the park. Not terribly diverse if you take out Trackmania and South Park but the quality bar looked super strong for what they were aming for.

@RnRClown: Yup, dodged a bullet there! No, to be fair Army of Two was decent. Definitely an enjoyable co-op romp and good for a laugh.

I kinda do too, but it seems we're in a moderately small minority. I saw mostly jabs and jokes whenever Ubi's conference was discussed.

But I got my favorite mode for R6. The rest was gravy

Yes. Ubi's presser sold me on R6, The Division, and GR.

I went into this E3 knowing that Ubi's presentation was going to be mostly for games i want. The For Honor game and the new GR an added bonus!

Now that it looks like someone has taken Chivalry's combat and gave it an upgrade with Frostbite we may be that much closer to an MMO with that combat style.

For Honor! Thank you, I knew I was forgetting a noteworthy game from the Ubi presser. Like I said, a strong showing

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good right now. Usually at least one of their games won't live up to it's full promise but now we have a few others to fall back on when that happens.

I think that terrorist hunt mode is still too small scale for what I want from a RB6 game (at least compared to 3) but that GR game looks right up my alley. When they dropped into the forest I was thinking "damn, it's like GR1 all over again."

I honestly wasn't impressed with what I saw of the Siege demo. It seemed like canned footage, and given where the game was in the alpha a while back, I'm not terribly confident that Ubisoft can deliver the game I'm hoping for. I'm definitely keeping my eye on Siege, but it's slipped from being a day 1 purchase for me.

I totally missed the GR demo though. Guess it's time to hit the youtube.
