Rainbow Six: Siege - Catch All

Pages

Finally!

I'm certain it ain't going to be the Rainbow Six of old but yeah, I'm super stoked to play that. Probably the closest thing to SWAT 5 I'm likely to see.

Amazing stage demo, long live Rainbow Six!!! Stoked its back after some of the most addictive co-op ever on Vegas 2 all those years ago. It looks pretty tactical, can't wait for it. Awesome close to Ubi's presser.

It's a very different kind of game from the previous R6 titles, but the destructibility of the environment looks so great. I'm definitely picking this one up.

Hoping the full game is as tactical as that.

This looks really solid, I wish they had the rights to SWAT instead, though, as that seems to fit the bill better here MP wise.

Hoping players are as vulnerable as they were back in the good ol' days.

Also their aim in that demo was awful, if the lethality of old is there it's going to be a cakewalk at the speeds they show if the weapons are accurate.

Mine is better.

Off-screen gameplay of it.

This looks so much more interesting than Hardline does.

Can't wait. Walls will be perforated.

completely different style of game between the two.

Played Hardline last night and the heist scenario they have going right now is a LOT of fun!

This is the thing I'm most excited about from E3. It's been over 6 years since we had one. They just need to get terrorist hunt in there as a mode and I will love them forever.

It's a lot like Obliteration in BF4. The city map is an interesting change from the usual fare.

So who wants to do a Vegas night this month?

Aww yeeah. I had 3 "tingly" moments this E3. Once was for No Man's Sky at the Sony conference, another for Mortal Kombat X and the final one was for this.

I hit up a buddy to blow the dust off of RSV2 Terrorist Hunt this weekend on the 360. A new Rainbow game in 6+ years is definitely something to celebrate.

If it's on a night I could play, I'd be up for that.

.... hmmm, that's a little off-topic. Hey, Rainbow 6: Siege looks awesome!

I will love them forever too. Adored that mode in Vegas 2 some of my best ever co-op memories with RNRClown were we spent hours upon hours night after night clearing those maps. That was one of the few games I used to think about all day when I was at work, dying to play it. Bring on Siege!

This looks amazing on so many levels.

Watching closely and very hopeful.

Interesting little snippets on the fate of RS: Patriots and the singleplayer part of Seige. No, I didn't think there was going to be single player either but, now they mention it, I'd love to have some old RS style, high pressure missions to work through.

Never played a R6 game before, but that gameplay video has me very interested.

The early games were incredible but tough. You had a planning stage and set out routes and action way points for A.I. team mates then you'd enact your plan with you controlling one of the team members. It was one shot kills and the terrorists were no slouches when it came to shooting.

My favourite was level in a theatre where the terrorists were mostly gathered on the stage with the hostages. You had to send your squad out to different elevations and sight lines within the theatre, taking out guards silently along the way, and then you had to give the word and kill all the targets on the stage at exactly the same time. It took a few tries.

Yes, that was the most memorable level of the game.

I didn't play enough of the original R6 games, but watching the video immediately reminded me of the old Sierra OnLine SWAT series, which is one of my favorite games way back when.

I am actually quite excited about this.

Yeah I signed up yesterday. I had planned to mention it here but then ended up playing Diablo 3 and the intention to post disappeared in the middle there somewhere.

Damn... don't meet the specs.

60fps video from PCGamer with Evan Lahti covering the details:

Looks like it should be fun.

Hoping the visuals improve a lot over time though.

Oh yes talk non-respawn to me baby

... three minutes to live it...

Ehhh.... so more Counterstrike, less Rainbow Six.

For a multiplayer game, I really don't mind the quick rounds.

Single player, I'd prefer a longer build up and execution phase. We'll see if it translates, or if the single player is just going to be a MP training sim.
