Benghazi Special Investigation

Republicans are better off trying to sweep this under the carpet because it shows clearly how they don't give a hoot about fiscal responsibility - instead it is a blatant attempt to use the death of three Americans to sink Hillary's presidential run.

I dunno. We've seen one of the participants mention that a big motivation - if not the main one - was partisan attacks. We've had another one get caught attempting to doctor the documents and rig things in their favor a little. And yet, the chorus of "Hillary lied, people died" sticks. There's no incentive for the GOP to shut up and move on to the next thing, because even though things didn't turn out how they wanted with the Super Special 64 Turbo Edition Committee Double Freedom Plus Hyper Tournament Mode report, just saying something something Benghazi keeps people firmly in the belief Hillary was absolutely wrong on all counts of everything ever.

In politics time, November is still a long, long way off. They have to keep people hating Hillary for awhile, and this well has yet to run dry.

It is really sad how Congressional Republicans and their bought "media" surrogates have turned a genuine human tragedy into a punchline for a self caricature for Right Wing tinfoil haberdashery. It is almost to the point that unironically mentioning the term "Benghazi" has become a litmus test for being straight up delusional.

Tragic.

Meanwhile, the city and country have basically taken a massive hit and are kind of dying, and all they care about is 4 people's deaths in the line of duty for their jobs and whether or not their boss can be charged with murder or not... or at least whether suggesting she should be can deny her the Presidency... all while forgetting all the people who tried to help from that country who could certainly use some help now and conveniently forgetting their own cutting of the State Department's budget for all things, including security.
