iPad Games (and Apps) Catch All

Gesundheit! is free right now. Cool little puzzle game.

That's snot a bad deal, might even say, it's nothing to sneeze at...

I am putting out contracts on all of you for not letting me know how much fun Field Runners 2 is. Played last night until almost 3 am. Can't recommend this one high enough!

It's good, but it's super hard, and the loading takes so long that I lose interest in playing it.

Soctics League is free today. It's apparently a turn-based tabletop soccer game. Might make for some interesting GWJ multiplayer.

Little Inferno is now out for the iPad. It's $4.99 and you get to burn things. Lots and lots of things.

Filthy Enablers!

Soctics League is seriously addicting. Feels like you're playing in small bite sized chunks but an hour flies by faster than with any game in recent memory.

Picked up Little Inferno too. Nice time waster but I feel $4.99 is overpriced by about $3.00.

In addition to Soctics League, I also still playing Wordpress and Hero Academy if anyone wants to play.

I'd like to get into card games more. The only one I am currently playing is Spectromancer. Can anyone recommend another card game?

Holy crap! I just won my first game of Catan HD against three AIs. I am unreasonably happy about this.

Currently The Tiny Bang Story is available for free. I played it on steam, it was a pretty good puzzler/point and click adventure. It wasn't too long of a game, but I had fun with it.

I'll beat everyone else to the punch and make the obvious Ascension recommendation. I have been enjoying Penny Arcade: Gamers versus Evil, it is similar to Dominion if you are used to that from the tabletop world. I don't know if San Juan fits under normal definitions of "card game", but it is a game played with cards that is pretty good. I'm sure there are some others I am not thinking of that other people can add in.

Someone gifted me that on Steam when I was laid up with a shattered arm. It was great.

Borderlands Legends HD is only $.99 after an update with loot drops, I picked it up.

The reviews have generally been very negative.

Galaxy on Fire 2 HD is free. First time ever.

2012 Appstore iPad App of the Year, The Room is currently on sale for $0.99. Definitely worth that price for a few hours of puzzle fun.

Any known issues updating to 6.1 for anyone?

I haven't tried any maps, but so far, so good

It's totally worth $6.99. Getting it for free is a steal. Maybe I'll go and download it again. The only downside to that game is that it's a hog on the internal memory.

There was one post on AppAdvice claiming that 6.1 was causing battery drain for some folks in the UK on the 4S due to issues with cell radios. I'm on a 4S as well but haven't seen any major battery drain, but then again I have been completely on wifi access since upgrading a couple of days back.

Thanks Cragmyre and avggeek!

This game is excellent if you like puzzle games, and I don't regret having paid full price for it. I hope they put out another in the series.

Picked it up yesterday. It was fun, but very short. Only takes a few hours to complete it and for me it doesn't have much replay value once you have figured out all the puzzles.

Yeah, it's not long, and since it's a puzzle game, you only get one pass through. I thought it was totally worth it.

Picked it up after watching the GiantBomb quick look and am about 2/3rds of the way through the first chapter of the tutorial. I have to confess to having used the hint button quite a few times already :/

Apple has issued iOS 6.1.1 for iPhone 4S users today and "the update fixes an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability for the iPhone 4S". Now that I've jail broken my 4S I can't upgrade right away. Will be interesting to see what happens today as I have to go into the city to run some errands.

I apologize for cross-posting, but I wanted to ensure I hit the widest possible audience So, I know it isn't a great game, but I still play Guardian Cross. I've mentioned it on here before, but if I can recruit friends, I get some nice cards Currently they have a new promo, and I would love to get the card for 10 friends, thus why I'm posting about this again. If you haven't installed this before ( it remembers if you had ), and you could use my referral code - HI36961 - I would be very grateful. If you decided you actually liked the game ( I doubt it ), I would send you some rare cards as well.

Plants vs Zombies HD is free for today. If you don't have it yet, this is a great time to get it!

Finished with Cook, Serve, Delicious. It was damn good, but an update screwed up my save! Can never become a 5 star restaurant.

Also finished Devil's Attorney, a light strategy game.

I thought I had this, but that little "1x" button in the corner of the screen is reminding me that I've just been using the iPhone version. The game scaled up pretty darn well, but at this price I think I'll snag the "HD" version...

Then how did you finish it?
