I hope you post thoughts after you've given it a little time.

Odd, it totally worked for me from the card I grabbed. I'll pop into a Starbucks this week and see if I can get you a code

Playdek's catalog is on sale for .99 each, including the full Summoner Wars.

I took code #3. Thanks!!

Okay, some Rayman codes are below. Please quote the ones you use so others will know they're gone.

My brief comments on The Room over in the "finished any games" thread.

Gesundheit! is free right now. Cool little puzzle game.

Interested to check it out. Very surprised that it's 400MB.

It's awfully hard to argue with free... especially free, for a game that has ZERO in-app purchases.

I stumbled across Dungelot and it's an excellent treadmill game. I usually hate endless/"no end but death" games, but this one has permanent upgrades/different characters/etc., that make it quite a bit of fun. It's similar to Desktop Dungeons, with some fun randomness thrown in. I sent a message to the dev about a simple win condition that could be added (get each character to level 50, find an exit, that character is marked as "escaped!" on the main screen. Get all classes to the escape condition and you escape the dungeon (win), hooray!)

In the very likely event that's not added, I think I'll still have a few hours of fun unlocking the various classes and enjoying the monster descriptions/randomness.
I thought the game was $1.99, but it was free for me when I grabbed it tonight, even though it showed $1.99. Not quite sure what happened there; maybe a brief sale?

Anyway, it's fun, has cute graphics, and is turn based, so I've enjoyed it.

It's showing as Free for me as well (via web and iTunes store), and the description says that it's free for a limited time. Maybe they updated the price between the time you went to the page, and when you actually hit the Buy button.

There may or may not be an app which may or may not contain a fully operational MAME client on the App Store right now. It's possible that it's called Gridlee, but you never heard that from me. Apparently, after first run, you might conceivably be able to use iFunBox to copy game data files into your iOS device's Apps -> Gridlee -> Documents -> roms folder.

And there's certainly absolutely no danger of Apple quickly yanking this from the App Store once they find out -- like they did for a MAME app in 2011 -- Lord knows.

Dungelot is a nice little game. It showed as $2 for me. I made it to level 9 on my first attempt. Does the Paladin Manual upgrade do anything?

Level 12 on my second attempt.

Level 12 on my second attempt. :)

Yeah, the manual is one of the better across the board upgrades per character. For the paladin, it adds something like 25hp, +1 to attack, +5 to initiative (attacking first) and +? to crit chance. The second upgrade costs 1600 and I can only assume makes as huge of a difference; that's a lot of HP!

I like the Vampire, personally. Of course, I haven't made it to level 25 yet to unlock the Brewer, but the vampire is pretty sweet.

I've hit level 22 and have all the upgrades for the vampire. This last round I hit level 20 with 125 health and was dead before I ever got close to the Axe Thrower that was chipping away at me. This game can be mean!

I like the vamp too, I've made it up to level 22. I hate the axe throwers.

Mutant Mudds is free today.

Protip: Open one of the 4 starter squares adjacent to the dungeon door and teleport those Throwers to their immediate doom.

if you have any affection for hidden object style games, tiny bang story is free at the moment.

Well it's the same mechanics but the campaign starts a bit faster. It also has asynchronous multi-player.

Just hit 25 (with my pally, no less!); haven't played with dwarf yet. I have decided to always keep a polymorph scroll handy for the goblin king.
