I imagined that at first with the kinds of seagulls we have here in the western U.S. Then I remembered Australia has little baby seagulls.

I'm glad it's Australian seagulls, because if that scenario happened with our seagulls I'm pretty sure several people would've been killed.

Just to add to what bnp said, here's an example of western NA seagull:

Why is there a q in problem?

Also failed on their version of "with". Reading it doesn't really make you smart, just proves the point on how our brains work where the first and last letter can be the same and all the other letters can be jumbled and you'll generally still be able to read it "correctly". Thus, with should instead be wtih.

Which also isn't true. That holds true primarily for short words and for words that are common and easily recognized through context clues, or put differently: the types of words you're already likely to be able to read and recognize from shape and prediction. I mean, how easy is it to recognize this one: ehlietmsbasnt?

Spoiler:

establishment, which is a word you likely know

Oh, that's that town in Germany, right?

I'm mostly offended that Clock thought I wouldn't recongize establishment. I spend more time in P&C than out here, damn it!

I would go further and posit that Demo disproved his own theory with "with". It was not organized in the prescribed manner, and you/we/he all recognized it as "with".

I would have thought they could get a better head shot of him, too. That fake-smiley face looks rather insincere. The lamestream media publishes pictures taken with unfortunate timing all the time, but this is from his supporters, for cryin out loud.

I'm gonna need help with this one.
And I don't know if it helps or hinders your point, but I recognized 'establishment' easily.

My best guess: guy being polite in a public setting, girl thinks he has ulterior motives and announces she has a boyfriend to slow his roll. Then the vegan speaks up because lol vegans and people in relationships are preachy.

If you have a photo of him not looking a little creepy/insincere/weaselly/ferrety, they'd probably buy it from you for quite the sum of money.

Yar, girl's nonsequiter prompts someone else to drop one too just for the hell of it.

Surely they are aware of Photoshop facial manipulation technology! If digital artists can make models look like skeletons, surely they can make a candidate look like something other than a Snooty McSnooterson.

Possibly that IS the photoshopped version, and it was the best they could do?

Canadians are notoriously difficult to make appear human in image editors. Hell, they barely show up on film at all.

The "I'm vegan" line should probably read "I hate vegans" instead, since I encounter people complaining about how preachy and obnoxious vegans are WAY more often than I encounter a vegan being preachy and obnoxious (no, I'm not vegan ).

I didn't read that as "vegans are obnoxious" but, as Demosthenes did, it's a random piece of personal information in reaction to the girl's random piece of personal information. Besides, everyone knows you say gesundheit if someone sneezes, not bless you!

Regardless, that's the meme being utilized here.
Edit:

+1 and it makes me extremely happy that my wife has embraced this.

I read it that vegans can't go for more than 10 seconds without announcing that they're vegan.
