I mean, imagine doing social media for bottom-tier fast food.
To be fair, Wendy's social media feed(s) are probably the top tier of corporate social media. I wish I had a 10th of their writing talent... as much as I wish I could get away with it on our own social media feeds
Yes

Yeah, sure but you're still amazing at the social media of SQUARE BURGERS!!!

I have been to White Castle. Once.
It made me pine for Wendy's. That's how bad it was.
Wendy's in no way qualifies as a good burger, but it's just good enough that it won't satisfy me when I'm in the mood for a shitty burger.
I used to like their fries alright... until they "improved" them...
Spicy chicken sandwich.
Cup of chili with 1-2 packets of their hot sauce.
My kids enjoy dunking Wendy’s fries into a Frosty and eating them that way. Where did I go wrong?
I'll admit I actually like Wendy's. Or at least I did when I lived in New Zealand, and was disappointed to find that for some reason there are none in Australia.
Come to think of it, why are fast food choices so limited here, even compared to NZ, never mind the US? No Wendy's, no Carl's Jr, no Burgerfuel. No In-n-Out either, which I liked when I lived in LA, but I don't think they're in NZ either.
Although, to be fair, there's lots of good Asian food joints to make up for it.
I worked at a White Castle. You must never go there. Any place where 2 people can produce 150 burgers in 2 1/2 minutes should be avoided.
In-n-Out and Five Guys are the only fast food burgers I'll eat. Being in Florida, that means Five Guys is it! Both have excellent frys as well.
I'm partial to McDonald's Filet-o-Fish and recently made the discovery that Culver's fried fish is excellent. I'll sneak a couple of the McRib sandwiches when I see them on offer.
I'll typically go sit at the counter of a diner if I want hot fast food or grab a sandwich from any chain that makes them to order.
Our go-to fast food is A&W. Unlike in the USA, we have them everywhere. Winnipeg alone has almost 20 of 'em!
I hear A&W is actually good in Canada. Down this way, when I've found one, they have been... fine. The A&W root beer you can get down here is pretty standard canned soda-pop mediocrity, so I don't exactly go out of my way to find them.
A&W up here is amazing. The reformulated the root beer a few years back to use sugar instead of hi fructose corn syrup and it's even better than it was before.
A fun one.

We've got several local root beers that are made with cane sugar. It really does make a huge difference.
Of the "ordinary" fast food burgers - McD's, Hardees, Sonic, BK, etc - Wendy's is by far the best burger. Once you get to "fast casual", like Five Guys, they are all outclassed.

"By far" hasn't been true for a while now, at least around here. I would call it "close, but clear." I would say that their fry changes have tanked them in the ranking, but just about everybody's fries have gone to crap lately. It got so bad that I've actually gone to McDonald's voluntarily for a fry fix after a couple decades of avoiding the place.
So much of this is location. I remember eating at Five Guys in Charlottsville years ago and being blown away at how great it was. When one opend up in Coralville IA I was there right away - it is was bleh. Not horrible but certainly not as good as I remembered nor as good as other local places.
When I go to McD's, BK, and Wendy's I usually get a chicken sandwich. If I want a burger I'll go to Cookout or Five Guys.
Applebees is $12 for a cheeseburger and fries where I live and Five Guys is $17. Five Guys is actually more than most of the local places here. Most of them come in around $15-16 for a burger and fries. Culver's is cheaper and better. Freddy's is cheaper and better. I just don't get the appeal of Five Guys.
They shovel extra fries into the bag! More is always better

They don’t though. They give you as much fries as you pay for and whose calories they must publish in most states. They just put them in a tiny cup so they overflow into the bag.
They've also named their burgers with a single patty “little” which means no self-respecting man would ever order it.

No self-respecting man would order those, but I get them all the time.

No self-respecting man should be concerned over ordering food with "little" in the name. Grow a pair, you damn snowflakes.
My favorite burger joint is Lil Woody's
