Competitive League of Legends discussion | Season 2016 | The League of Pablo

Watching stream right now. If I didn't have $20 spent in about six different ways already this weekend, I'd be tempted to buy the pass. Lots of good Starcraft and plenty of awesome LoL to be played. Watching Game 2 of TSM.EVO vs. SK right now.

Today is starting off with TSM vs CLG.EU

This is really cool as well: https://elobuff.com/events/2012-mlg-...

That page will be a lot of fun after today. Lots of 2-0 teams make it tough to tell who's really shining.

Man, Fnatic Peke is playing some pro Galio against TSM.evo.

Game 3 of Fnatic vs. TSM.evo coming up! It's a pretty good series so far.

You know, if I talked to my wife during Madmen the way she talks to me during MLG, she'd divorce me.

Remind me to set an alarm for Maximum Conversation during tomorrow night's Madmen season finale.

Damn that was a great, tense series.

I was "forced" to go to a local pub yesterday evening and missed the third game of TSM vs. CLG.eu, plus the rest of the evening games. Baseball on every screen at the pub - can't wait until they show games on at least one screen

Can't wait for today's games. TSM vs. Dignitas? Yes please. I'm also wondering about the Loser brackets and what rematch we'll get. I love revenge series on championship Sunday.

CLG Prime vs CLG.EU coming up soon I would say it should be good games but I'm honestly expecting CLG.EU to roll those games pretty hard providing they aren't still having technical issues.

Old school matchup in the MLG finals!

As usual my predictions are completely off. CLG Prime really got themselves in a strong flow today.

So much Nautilus play. I am a fan of this meta trend

Me too, they'll probably nerf him even more :p

edit: im gonna hangout around in vent watching if anybody wants to join me... hopefully game 2 will be more interesting

Man, it's going to suck getting up for work tomorrow. Crazy series, though, might be the best LoL finals I've ever watched. The Hotshot to Jungle move seems pretty strong, and Hazzard has played a strong top all night long.

My god it's finally over!

A damn good eSports weekend and a great finals to wrap it up. Happy for the winners (don't want to spoil it if others are going to watch reruns tomorrow). It's pretty neat to see so many teams playing at a high level, but the winners are really solid.

Dreamhack next weekend, hope we get to see M5 play some LoL.

I really ought to completely ignore Dreamhack, I lost my entire weekend to MLG and can't bear the thought of getting nothing productive done for a second weekend in a row. (so worth it for that huge finale though...)

I know what you mean. Being an East coast dweller, I made sure my mornings were productive for exactly that reason.

THis was the weekend that hooked me on eSports. I was just RIVITED these last two nights. And very very tired this morning.

Have you officially switched from playing to watching?

I'm at the point where pretty much the only time I'd rather play is in an inhouse game.

Once I played Starcraft 2 every night. Then I got into watching. Then I stopped playing. I kept watching. Then the game passed me by and I rarely watch anymore. Now I watch LoL occasionally (just big tournaments like this) and play all the time. Will the cycle repeat?

That elobuff site is fantastic. I think it's dumb they're trying to collect money for it, but I can't say they hide much behind the pay wall. Great stats and stuff.

You guys ready for Kayle flavor of the month? I am not, though at least she only goes nuts when she's incredibly farmed.

I think the pay service is more geared toward pro players who want to keep track of their stats and other player's stats. I don't think that's dumb at all, from what I can tell a LOT of the competitive players have subscriptions. And those subscriptions are likely what makes the free stats we got for this tourney possible.

Well, there ain't well commented awesome matches like this weekend every night. I pretty much only play LoL with people I know, unless I am just trying something new out, in which case I just ignore everyone and tread it like a bot match.

You're right, but there pretty much are for Starcraft. Or at least you could watch replays of matches you missed.

I never really get watching sports delayed. To me its all about being in a collective experience.

Actually you can pretty much find IPL, Go4LoL, ESL, and more games just about every weekend and nearly every day.

Huge European LAN tournament (Dreamhack Summer Qualifiers) going on today.
Reddit Catch-all

Looks like the main stream doesn't start until an hour or so.
For now you can enjoy watching random Europeans make faces at the camera here:
http://www.twitch.tv/dreamhacklol
You can also participate in racist, homophobic, sexist, and other random spam in the twitch tv chat.

Some of the CLG.EU members are streaming games from the event as well: http://clgaming.net/live/858-clg-sno...

GESL also going on today. And you know who's casting? KOBE!!! So dreamy.
