Ok, more specific, could we all do 4pm EDT on Sunday? (2200 for squee)

Edit: I also created a group in Curse Voice which has been specifically engineered to withstand a record amount of smack talk. If I don't already have you in there, hit me up.

Edit2: Also, rule changes for this split are up. The most significant update adopts the Korean substitute policy, allowing teams to swap subs in between days of the same week or between games of a series in playoffs.

Interesting on the subs thing! I wonder if any NA/EU teams will take advantage of it? Right now I don't think any of them have two players at any positions. I feel like the big reason it was used in Korean was because of the contraction of the number of teams. No way SKT would have ever gotten both Easyhoon and Faker if it wasn't for the fact that they were both under contract before the contraction.

I think that following all the CLG drama, they actually replaced Link with two mids (Polbelter and HuHi) in a similar Korean fashion. So we might get to see some of that in NA this split.

So, I think I might have misread that time for Sunday. I could probably manage it, but I'd have to be on mobile, which would definitely take me out of the curse voice deal. At this point I'm not certain if we have all 8 either. Is it looking more like Tuesday will be draft day?

I have several friends I can ask to fill in our 8th slot, so that's not that big of a concern. Would an hour or two later make a better time for you?

(Btw, I added you to the group on Curse Voice. We'll have our mobile apps out in the next couple of weeks but if you're not at your PC then I guess that doesn't do much for you.)

Well, an hour later ensures I'm not going to be on the road. My connection may be iffy. But I'll do my best.

Just about ready to get started. Just waiting on squee9 to get back online at his apt.

I'm ready!

Call me up on CURSE VOICE. I'd like to test my setup.

Setup has been tested, it doesn't work.

Gonna missit WHOOPst. Go on wothout me boys. Autodraft please save me!

Seems like that was my boat too. Apparently my wife's extended family lives so far out in the middle of no-where, there's no cell reception along with their lack of internet...

Oh well. Sorry for any complications I might have thrown on the pile in the mess of it.

lol, yeah... My auto-draft wasn't great, but we'll see what I can do with it. Honestly, Betsy was one I was considering picking up, so I'm not too bothered by that. But I don't think I would have leaned towards Piglet or Apollo for first pick ADCs. Definitely missed my mark on a few other spots. We'll see how it goes. It'll be an interesting first time in the fantasy arena.

All that aside, love your matchup predictions Squee9. Entertainment++

WEEK ONE, FIGHT!

SALTLORDS DELUXE vs ARCLIGHT PORO
Cathadan took some great mids in Febiven (number 3 fantasy player overall in the spring) and Ryu (carries H2K who caught fire at the end of the split). Questions remain about the effectiveness of CandyPanda, who's new to SK, and whether or not Quas will get any action if TL gets stomped.

Poro number two went in big on the pink pony with their entire bot line in the roster as well as a pair of CLG players. That's a lot of eggs in a few baskets, and neither team has a cakewalk schedule, but anchor Reignover will keep this team competitive. Will Incarnation push a strong team to the top or get swapped out on waivers by week three?

Prediction: Cathadan has the right mix of NA and Cl to take this matchup, by 15 points.

THE CHUM BUCKETS vs MIDLANE MORGANAS
Our two newcomers battle it out week one and it's all about the ADCs. Freeze has putup 70 point weeks in the past, will CW continue their nonsense ways? Forgiven is on a new team, can he still produce? Can Piglet pig like the piglet of old? Is Apollo the conductor of the TIP hypetrain or just XWX's caboose? The deciding point will come from the mids. Betsy is an offensive maniac playing against some weaker opponents, but PoE is playing against two fnantastic mids this week, and he always plays up to the level of the competition.

Prediction: DarKeth makes a good first impression and wins by a lot.

AINT GOT NO YEEZY? vs KAYLE'S KRUSADERS
Fedora's auto-picks actually went pretty well (sorry skylar's :P) WildTurtle is a monster, Hjarnan gets a lot of kills on the still rising H2K squad, and Cabochard was the number two fantasy top laner last split (only 90 points below HUNI), and the 14th player overall. XWX may do some things as well. Unfortunately for Fedora's plans, a good day for Turtle is a good day for Lustboy. Kam's plans rest with Origen. If they brawl all day, Kamikazi wins all day. Unfortunately Fedora will win it. Origen plays mediocrely, and XWX goes CRAZY.

Prediction: Fedora wins it thanks to a 50+ point performance from XWX.

LORE GRENADES v GOSU'S GRILLS
So yeah Frate has Rekkles and Yellowstar, which seem to outclass Altec and GosuPepper by a LOT. On the plus side, Squee has Huni. It depends on which lane starts snowballing, the top or the bot, for that matchup. Gosu's mids, xPeke and Keane, both seem lowkey but have the potential to go off at any time with point values ranging from 20 to 40. Squee's mids, Bjerg and Fox, were the 5th and 9th total point earners of the last split, as well as Diamond, last split's number two jungler (tied with Sven and Santorin).
Honestly though, Frate had a killer draft. G-d DAMN it Kam.

Prediction: Fox, Diamond, and Huni stay ahead of the bot lane of death long enough for Bjerg to close the deal and give Squee the win by a poetic nine points.

Only 15 points? Damn, no faith at all.

A few things.

1) My goal is to get tickets to one of the EU LCS days.

2) I only JUST realized that the EU games are at GREAT times for me. You know...'cause I live here now...

3) A possible future win's a win Cath. Remember, yellow wins a draw.

Squee is the hero we nred but don't deserve.

Kind of league related...

Well, my faith in Origen and Niels really paid off this week.

For sure. Seems like picking up Mithy saved me some pain from the auto-draft.

Those Origen scores. I doubt it will be like that every week, but I think they blew up fantasy this week.

Woolite the legendary throw lord.

edit: EU LCS BABY

That was the dumbest game of league I've seen since I promo'd out of Bronze.

That's what happens when a bad team with a good teamcomp clashes with a good team with a bad teamcomp.

Also Hylissang is so good, sets up so many plays for UOL and turns around teamfights in a blink. Really the core of that team.

That delayed penta LOL

So after a few changes im pretty happy with my week two roster. Adrian and Amazing come off the bench to replace struggling GMB players. Meanwhile, pobelter off waivers is killin it. Literally. I drafted fox highly, as he was one of the top fantasy producing players last split, but SK sucks this split apparently, so dropping him worked wonders. Also...TSM TSM TSM!

Turtle doing his job that game, press R and watch Bjerg kill everybody.

And I come crawling back to Bunnyfufu, begging for his forgiveness. PROMISEQ MEANT NOTHING TO ME, I DID IT FOR THE POINTS.

At least next week either Gambit or SK HAS to win a game.

Yeah, for sure. That's how fantasy works.

Unrelated, this Bard hype is out of control. Someone has to do something before it's too late.

The Bard hype is out of control and the Ryze power is out of control.

Too bad I'm on business in Eastern Europe or I would have been able to snipe bunny from you. Hopefully he does well because it means altec is doing well.

In other news, kids got lore grenades on their nutsack week two. Week three is gonna be fun, but in a fortnight my team is gonna go OFF.

Keep doin work out there sons.

Good article

Ekko vs Yasuo = insane fights

Spoiler:

Kakao: "boring game imo" http://i.imgur.com/ZmCM3oI.png

and on the topic of Faker being the best here's your weekly reminder that Faker plays what he pleases

Spoiler:

I feel like a lot of these odd mid lane picks from SKT aren't really Faker flexing as much as the whole team flexing. It's just a heads up that not only is Faker impossible to ban out, but if you give the rest of the team what they want they will go off too. Wolf and Bengi really set the pace of that game.
