I was pretty distracted, and didn't pay super close attention. Watching the final pushes, I finally looked at MFs items. The last time I'd looked she had boots, a brutalizer and a ruby crystal (pretty normal for MF). She ended up with a Mejai's, Sorc shoes, and a lich bane. Talk about weird builds.
She picked up the Mejai's when she was around 2/0/2 and ended at 7/0/6 -- not too bad on the stacks.
I would love to see more diverse ranged AD builds. I have a weakness for hybrid items and some of the newer items -- I was hopeful that the Ezreal in this video would do something with his Iceborn Gauntlets.

I would think the issue is that all ADCs fulfill pretty much the exact same role while all four other characters can vary quite a bit. Leads to every ADC needing the exact same build to do their job.
Yes, GGU just played with a LeBlanc support. And Complexity played with a Victor top.
and the LeBlanc did pretty well.
Viktor....not as much.
Holy crap... check out M Eye A's play at 1:13:00. I didn't even realize you could flash mid wind-up.
Did anyone else just see that insane comeback?
MRN was down 10 towers to 2, ended up taking a Baron with super minions killing their own base, barely saved their last Nexus turret, turtled, aced CLG and pushed the base and won. It was absolutely insane.

Yes! Awesome match, not sure what happened to them.
LCS Playoffs are this weekend, starting today and running through Sunday. I'll let some less lazy and tired provide the links, but basically the 3-6 seeds fight for automatic spots in the summer season, and then the 1-2 seeds play those winners to be the winner of the spring season.
Kiwikid playing Zac top vs. GGU
Kiwikid playing Zac top vs. GGU :o
Wickd played two games of ZAC earlier. It was pretty cool. No crazy plays though really.

Ah, I missed those So, all top Zacs so far then? He seems so much better suited to jungle than top to me.

Yep, all top so far.
KiwiKid's Zac was pretty underwhelming. Riven won the lane pretty easily.
granted, i don't play top lane or bruisers very often so i suck, but i went up against top lane Zac earlier and it wasn't fun at all. his attacks are so deceptive because it doesn't look like they're hitting you.
You should all do yourselves a favor and watch Game 4 of Fnatic vs. Gambit. One of the craziest, most entertaining games I've seen. They basically skipped the laning phase and went straight into teamfighting for the first 20 minutes.
Heads up: this weekend will determine what the pro scene looks like for the next 6 months, if not longer. Eight amateur teams are going head-to-head this Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday the winners will go up against the lower 4 teams from the LCS. Winners get spots in the next LCS season, losers are out on the street. Complexity and MRN are on the chopping block for Saturday, but the big day is Sunday, about which both Scarra and HotshotGG have both been quoted that CLG and Dignitas will most likely disband if they lose their games.
I've been watching the Season 3 LCS pretty faithfully. To be honest, it's cut into actual game play time. League's probably my favorite competitive game to watch. I'm glad you posted the links - I think I'll have to arrange my work day so I can catch as many matches as possible.
Imagine being that amateur LoL player that made HotshotGG ragequit LoL for life. Resume bullet right there.
Honestly I feel like if they do get dropped out of the LCS they probably have the best potential to actually make the amateur scene do a little better. If they just disband all together it would feel like such a waste.
I would absolutely feel like a waste, and as much as I would love to see CLG's influence elevate the amateur scene I don't know that running an organization the size of CLG outside of the LCS is financially viable. I know they have income from streaming and ad revenue on their site, but public interest seems to have mostly shifted away from CLG towards streams from CRS/TSM and LCS matches.

It really doesn't help that they are on azubu.tv instead of twitch, it is similar to the situation with own3d from a few months ago, once they guys from Curse and EG moved to twitch they were getting 10x the viewers even if you don't count Voyboy who just gets absurd numbers.
Man, Quantic looks really good. I don't want to see Complexity knocked out, but they're going to have their work cut out for them.
Quantic vs CoL... wow...
Indeed! And MRN vs. Velocity? Wow again. Vileroze might be louder than Zuna, he had his whole team laughing at one point.
Quantic is just a good team. They will be competing for an upper half position in the summer split. Velocity wasn't all that impressive. They played pretty much the same champs each game and I thought MRN just played poorly. Then again I never thought MRN was particularly good anyways.
I would be shocked if dig loses tomorrow. CLG/Azure Cats will probably be very close.
Live!
I'd make predictions, but I'd just be making stuff up - I'm knowledgable enough to be greatly entertained, but not enough to break down which player or team is better than the other.
To my surprise, I'll be rooting for CLG, mostly because of the Doublelift video linked on Reddit a couple weeks back, about what his life was like before leaving home to become a pro gamer, and how things have changed since. I can root for Aphromoo too. Never really been a CLG fan, but I hope Doublelift gets to stay in the league.
Games 1 and 2, Dignitas vs. Team Summon
Battle of the mid laners - Scarra dominates first game, CaptainKorea the second. It's a three game series, momentum to Team Summon?
There are best of 5's, not best of 3's.
