Competitive League of Legends discussion | Season 2015 Part 2, the East Coast Strikes Back

Those Azubu Blaze vs Dignitas games were fantastic.
Best series I've seen in a while.

I feel like Dig sort of threw away game 1 at the end where Dominate got caught and then the rest of the team tried to turn it around and just got rolled being out of position. The second game was just so close from 20 minutes on. Huge props to Crumbz for his Kat play and to Shy on the Jax play. Cpt Jack on Vayne also just always managed to stay up (not even losing GA) which made it near impossible for Dig to ever end when they won fights.

Yeah, I really enjoyed those two games!

Yay froggen Lee Sin! Such great, cocky play from him.

The cocky thing was picking Lee into a team with no magic damage. Froggen has been playing him pretty exclusively since worlds so it's not surprising he played him IMO.

TSM played like they didn't care, which they probably didn't.

I feel sorry for the people who paid mlg because of the huge downtimes.

I watched the end of CLG:EU vs TSM on my phone (was out of the house) and TSM got destroyed. I'm not sure why they let Froggen get Lee Sin . It still doesn't matter Froggen is an amazing AP.

No one's banned Lee Sin against CLG.EU that I recall. It's almost always Anivia, Jayce and Irelia.

Azubu just got stomped by Najin. I don't think anyone is going to beat Najin or come even close. Kinda bummed Dignitas is out after how well they played earlier.

The overall quality of the MLG stream has been awful. From not streaming half the games to having a weird stutter lag at the beginning of every game to weird audio/video messages popping up at random times, it's been amateur hour. And they wanted people to pay $15 for it.

Azubu Blaze absolutely destroyed CLG.EU. CLG needs to learn a new strat other than "pick a late game comp and survive until late game" because it's the only strat they ever use and it doesn't work against good early game teams (i.e. Asian teams).

The worst part of this tournament is all the people playing Diana mid. Please no nerfs!

I was thinking the same thing...

Are the replays of these games available yet?

The Lone Star Clash is happening today. Game 3 of CLG.EU versus RedditNation going live in a moment. Some good players on RedditNation, I haven't figure out how they got them together on one team yet. Way behind on my Reddit reading. There's also Starcraft 2 happening at the Lone Star Clash.

TSM tournament also going live later today.

Basically, team ORB left their management because they were taking prize money and the like. They wanted to go to the tournament, so took donations from Reddit and got the hotel room, plane tickets, food all covered. Pretty good showing by them in the games too.

Oh wow, I didn't realize it was that sinister. Good for them, and for Reddit.

IPL 5 is this weekend (starting Thursday): http://www.ign.com/ipl/league-of-leg...

Sixteen teams, including Season 2 champs Taipei Assassins, Moscow 5, and Azubu Blaze. NA teams include TSM, CLG, Curse, FeaR (Aphromoo's team), and Team Dynamic. CLG.EU is also playing if you enjoy watching Froggen sit in mid and farm for 45 minutes.

They're streaming 720p for free this time too, so no more horrendous quality for us cheap bastards.

Cool, not going to lie, for the most part I have more fun watching than playing. I will probably be watching all the games after 4PM CST

It is also apparently free for Xbox live gold me,bets to stream on their Xbox which I think is pretty cool.

Cheering for CLG EU.

Ahahahaha Joe "Joe Miller" Miller shaved his head. I am pleased he is good to his word, promising to do so on his twitter account.

I knew you were a good man.

First game was pretty good but I think that twitch pick screwed them, and that's the first jungle Cho I have seen in a pro game.

Rengar seemed to be able to keep up with jax in a fight but not the farm.

TBH even though it didn't seem like that much of a roll, TD didn't stand a chance. You could tell from the very first teamfight at dragon the HUGE difference in teamplay. TD has some strong individual players that held their own but when it comes down to teamfighting, pushing, and defending Blaze is just way above them.

Curse EU Vs TSM.

Announcer: "It's just bad" while TSM getting just toyed with and slapped around early.

I was watching it and all I could think about was Raven getting mad about giving a vayne kills,

sh*t, CLG EU's win must have gone super fast...i raced for home after the previous game and now the one after theirs is on and it's only like 25 mins later!

Anyone find a VoD link for it?

edit: or maybe i just misread the schedules earlier...whatever....i missed their first game:(

Katarina / Rengar are ruining this tourney imho.

Rengar is starting to feel like the new Graves - just keeps on shredding people despite numerous rounds of nerfs.

Ezreal has been "ruining" tournaments far longer. No champ should have an 11 second ability that is better than Flash.

So this happened

Current brackets and VOD links.

Some awesome upsets so far.

TSM did not look good against CLGEU last night. Not sure what they were thinking giving Anivia to Froggen. Yellowpete was also rocking the Ez pretty good.

The only real upset I'm seeing is Fnatic sending AzuBlaze to the losers bracket. Everything else is pretty much as expected thus far.
