I'm more concerned at the "Directed By". He directed The Spirit, which was entertaining enough when I first saw it, and then...not so much on a second viewing.
Hopefully this has several guest directors like the first Sin City film.
He also had Director credits for the last one. There was a big hub bub because it came up for an award and they don't do 2 directors for one film.
A few minutes of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Not sure how she shield sticks to his back exactly.
two things;
a) featurette was good; confirms we're getting a similar vibe to the 1st Captain America movie and the Avengers movie.
b) Every film that "needs" to release a clip in order to generate hype, has always ended disappointing me.
hope Winter Soldier breaks the pattern.
------EDIT--------------
the Spiderman previews/spoilers kinda prove my point.
(copied from IGN) re; Sin City : A Dame To Kill For
"The sin city stories were not published in chronological order. Marv's story in the first movie is the first sin city story written, but Marv appears in later stories that took place before. Chronologically "that yellow bastard" came first. Marv's story in this movie takes place the same night Hartigan (Bruce Willis) walked into the bar and Nancy jumped off the stage to kiss him. We'll probably see that scene again from Marv's perspective then follow a story involving Marv.
Dwight's story will take place a good while before the story in the first movie before he had plastic surgery, hence why Josh Brolin is playing him and not Clive Owen. The surgery is mentioned in the first movie. Marv will also be in that story.
Alba's story is an original and takes place after the death of Hartigan and her dealing with it and maybe her getting revenge."
I won't defend it. I won't see it in the theater. I will see it on Bluray because: 'Splosions, pew-pew, and Marky Mark trying to get into a fist fight with a robot. :)
Same here. I kinda know what I'm getting when I watch these movies. They're not awesome, but there at least entertaining.
The first Transformers movie has some bits that work -- for instance, the attack on the army base is pretty well executed -- but the second is just unmitigated garbage. It also lays bare Michael Bay's id, which makes it pretty horrifying and fascinating.
Been huntin' for the Horrors!
Stage Frght
Deliver us from Evil
Karen Gillen: The Movie (Or 'Occulus', as they INSIST on calling it)
Afflicted: Will I ever get tired of found footage movies?
Alien Abuction (No, is the answer)
The Babadook
The Quiet Ones
In Fear
Open Grave
Unidentified
App.
*slightly saucy thumbnail on this one. THANKS YOUTUBE*
They go the whole trailer without calling it a "killer app". I am strangely disappointed.
....and the best for last....
...sort of.
Thanks from a big horror fan !

Well, duh. It's a Michael Bay movie.
I am continually amused by people expecting deep plot and stuff from a Transformers movie.
Why didn't he just web them all together to begin with?
WTF
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. I hope everyone involved made it realizing they're just trying to milk American conservative christians. If that's the case, it's kind of funny.
You'd be surprised how many Christians I knew were pissed off with Prince of Egypt. Them f*ckers are pretty hard to please, and considering this film is said to have depictions of angels more accurate to what was in the Bible, well...
Meh, it's a good story - no reason not to use Christian myths as movie fodder the way we use Norse or Roman myths.
Yes, we f*ckers are hard to please. Once its clear that the point of this movie is not to proselytize, but to make money through entertainment it's easier to swallow. You'd know a true Christian video by the truly awful acting. Its so bad that it ceases to be the least bit entertaining at the age of 10.
Spiderman looks like he's being rendered by a Playstation 3 in that clip.
Never heard of this "bestselling" book and it looks like the next attempt to get the Twilight crowd to the theaters but it doesn't look terrible.
That looks interesting. I never heard of the book series either.

My youngest loved this series. I assume I will be coerced into taking him and some friends to see it (or maybe not; he as at that age where seeing a movie with dad is uncool). The series was a Pretty Big Deal in the middle school set. More like The Hunger Games than Twilight though (according to him, I have read none of these).

Stiles!
Do they get cheese at the end?

My feelings; feels more like the coming-of-age novel du jour than Twilight.

Don't make me go all Gaald on your ass about spoilers!!
i really liked Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in the first one, but that was it. The story was horrible, the villain was horrible, and this second one looks just as bad or worst. I'll see it, but I think this might be a new record for bad comicbook movie. I'm talking Fantastic Four 2 bad.
I think I'll enjoy the film, but it still does look way too cluttered. I'm certainly warming up to the actor playing Harry despite the terrible haircut.
In truth, I think what I really appreciate is that he still loves being Spiderman, rather than entering the angsty "I just wanna be normal!" phase.
