My MIL always pronounced the singular as woof and the plural as woofs. We always made fun of her, but then I heard a podcast host get dragged for pronouncing it the same way and he insisted it was because he grew up in Pennsylvania. The problem with my MIL is that she never even visited PA much less grew up there.

My wife used to pronounce it "woof" and "woofs" also. I never bothered to correct her. She never lived in PA.

I have always found these massive Indian productions a bit silly, but for some reason RRR made me a believer.

Yeah, the director is also new (though the director of the previous two films is still involved).

Definitely tempered my expectations on this one.
