Trailer Catch All

Fury Road has a ton of CGI.

These days there's not an action film i'm aware of that doesn't. It's just a matter of how much. Fury Road was primarily practical effects with CGI touch ups

Yes, there's a lot of practical stuff (visually enhanced) but, for example, that whole sequence with the tornadoes was one big CGI fest.

Man, that looks great.

Agreed. Walter Goggins!

Almost makes me want to go back and play Fallout 4.

Almost.

A Fallout show is so bizarre! Would never have expected that!

Hmm, developed by Nolan & Joy... promising!

I hate that they're hyping it already though. April!

WTF... PINK GODZILLA?!

Also, didn't we just have Godzilla vs Kong? Shouldn't that title be Godzilla + Kong rather than Godzilla x Kong? Are they teaming up to fight that angry giant ape? Or are Godzilla and Kong going to have pink crossbred babies?

So many questions.

If George wants to further explore the crazy ideas that made me stagger out of the theater feeling like I'd been seized by a fever for two hours only to have the exact same reaction the very next night, with the help of Anya Taylor-Joy, picking up one of the great characters of the past decade from Charlize Theron, I'll show up for it, no matter how poor the reactions of some mooks watching the trailer in a compressed Youtube format feel about the few frames of CGI they could process. And I'll probably show up the next day, too. Again. And probably the Monday after because I don't feel like cooking. Again.

f*ck yeah.

radiation causes breast cancer so I assume Godzilla is showing his support

I absolutely loved the 2014 Godzilla film from Legendary. One of my favorite Godzilla movies of all time, because I like Godzilla best when it's a more serious direction and handled with care. But each subsequent film in the "Legendaryverse" has just lowered the bar in terms of my preferences by dropping further into rote action film silliness. Godzilla vs Kong was rough. There were some great visuals, but there wasn't much in the movie overall that I was particularly keen on. This one, even the trailer is looking iffy to me. I'll probably still watch it once, when it hits streaming.

In the meantime, I am super stoked for Godzilla Minus One and will be catching it tomorrow evening at a theater!

I assume the pink is purely to piss off the folks that still frequent "X"

It looks like it is going farther and farther into crazy land really but that can be fun.

That looks great. I should probably rewatch the first season just because it's been a while.

That is *almost* enough to get me to reup to Max. Unfortunately the suck that is Zaslav overshadows anything that might appear on the streamer.

MFer actually bragged about nuking Batgirl. Pathetic.

In a shocking turn of events, a criminal gang hurts/kills the family of a highly trained fighter and he seeks revenge!
Wow, never saw it coming.
*who knows even though the story is cliche it might be fun.

Mayhem!

"You woke up the beast!"

They said it 3 times.

Was cool the first time. Annoying the second. Completely irritating the third time.

And if you are going to say it, at least link it to something else in the trailer.

"And introducing, fighting out of the blue corner, Generic Angry "The Beast" Male Protagonist!!"

I'll still watch it, for the fight scenes. The plot will be throwaway though.

My favorite trite revenge movie line is "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME"

I liked Thanos's response to that. "I don't even know who you are." Followed by the best response to that "You will".

Not somewhere I can watch it but I kind of hope it’s an adaptation of the Brangela movie.

Damn, that cast!

I was looking forward to this, but this trailer felt… off somehow.

I’ll still check it out, but the chemistry between the two main characters is going to make or break this show.

I was just surprised about it being a TV show and not a standalone movie. How much can you really get out of the concept? I remember being bored by the Brangelina movie after 60 minutes.
