4K movie promoted with a trailer in... 1080p
I'm sure it will sell out before I can get tickets in my area anyway. Huge bummer.
Finally a character that i have 0 knowledge about from the comics
Gotta say, that looks really cool.
Abominable choice of music. I didn't know there was just a random evil spiderman character.
I thought that trailer was pretty bad.
And it’s another not-Spider-Man movie? I’ll pass.
Did that trailer just imply the existence of Marvel Kart? Because I would play that game.
Nothing has dissuaded me from my initial gut reaction to What If way back when it first arrived on Disney+. It’s just too Disneyfied. The art direction, the voice acting, most especially the character reaction shots. There are these specific facial expressions common to a lot of Disney animation, and I hate them. Example: snap zoom to character’s head which turns to face the camera, pauses for just a sec, then arches one eyebrow. An expression that only exists in cartoons and wrestling character preshow interviews. Annoys the hell out of me.
It’s an aesthetic that is way more cartoonish than comic bookish. Thanks, I hate it.

I tried that LoL show, but I just couldn't with Steampunk Jailbait Harley Quinn moving and emoting like Princess Jasmine.

ROFFLE! So right.
But uh, what does it say about me that I liked it anyway?

That maybe you should give What If a chance no matter your brief impression from trailers...? Maybe you'll also like it like you did Arcane?

No, my brief impression was from most of the first episode when it first came out. The trailers look similar.
I would recommend the fourth episode (Dr Strange) even if the series is otherwise a miss for you, just because the story was quite excellent.
A Disturbance in the Force is a documentary unlike any other tailor-made for every and any Star Wars fan. Dealing with the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special, in 1977, "Star Wars" became a cultural phenomenon that single-handedly revitalized a stagnant film industry, and forever changed how films were sold, made, and marketed. In 1978, filmmaker George Lucas was talked into cashing in on the Star Wars craze by producing a holiday variety TV special. What could possibly go wrong? ANSWER: Everything…
Looks fun
Another damn prequel? I hope she’s not in any physical peril because I’m pretty sure she’ll survive. And I can’t wait to see how she loses that arm. Also, how she got that hat and the scar on her chin. No, wait
I'll watch it.
All the sorts of shots that looked real in Fury Road look weightless and green screened and false in Furiosa. I'm willing to watch most anything with Anya TJ and Chris Hemsworth, but this is asking a lot of me.
The vehicle tires didn't look real or like they were physical objects interacting with the ground.
That seems odd for a director who is infamous for building insane vehicles for his movies.
You guys want all these people to suffer in the desert for eight months AGAIN? Calm down, Furiosa has some CGI. It'll probably still be brilliant. Geez.
If George wants to further explore the crazy ideas that made me stagger out of the theater feeling like I'd been seized by a fever for two hours only to have the exact same reaction the very next night, with the help of Anya Taylor-Joy, picking up one of the great characters of the past decade from Charlize Theron, I'll show up for it, no matter how poor the reactions of some mooks watching the trailer in a compressed Youtube format feel about the few frames of CGI they could process. And I'll probably show up the next day, too. Again. And probably the Monday after because I don't feel like cooking. Again.
