Trailer Catch All

I can resist by looking at the production history. It doesn't seem like an excited team making a good movie but a group dragged in to slap something out.

How do you see that? These aren't yearly. It's like 3 or 4 between each one. The talent behind each of them have been spectacular.

Many stories over the years. Craig saying he didn't want to do it, then doing it. The director changing. The release date being pushed back. etc.

* looks better than it has any right to! Nothing like the animated film in tone really but still good looking

I like that it's different than the animated movie. I'm tired of these live action remakes that are the exact same, beat-for-beat, as the animated version.

They went through that the last one too. Agent/Actor shenanigans doesn't mean they're bad products.

Maybe. It could also be that I was left from those issues that some (Craig especially) were tired of the franchise and just going through the motions.

I'll be there because they've got Cary Fukunaga directing, and that trailer definitely shows some of his flair.

This is kind of how I feel about that franchise. I have no idea how many Craig has made (4? 5?) and I really couldn't tell you what happened in them other than Casino Royale had an awesome opening and a great card game bit and Skyfall had a bit on a farm.

Bully (Official Trailer) - A coming-of-age comedy starring Tucker Albrizzi and Danny Trejo

Have at it.

for those not in the DC thread

I have loved all three of those posted trailers, especially Ghostbusters. Wow.

So we have Deadpool meets Wreck-It-Ralph. Might be ok.

WW84 and Ghostbusters both look great though.

Ghostbusters looks far better than I would have expected.

Yeah - I was ready to write that off, but it looks legit.

Bill Murray voice-over giving me ALL the tingles!

Those kids from Stranger Things are doing alright for themselves, aren't they?

Hmm, I had an initial negative reaction to the Ghostbusters trailer. Had no idea the film was even being made.
This movie is “Mike from Stranger Things as the lead kid on a team of other kids investigating strange things in their small town”. I’m glad the actor picked up a major role, but this is too Stranger Things adjacent for me.

I’m just tired of kid and tween shows / movies I guess. Adults acting like kids is more entertaining to me than kids acting like adults.
I’ll give it another trailer, but it’s in the “I’m too old for this” category for me.

Same. Also I guess the pretty decent lady Ghostbusters was officially defeated by the trolls.

I’m not down with that.

I liked the reboot Ghostbusters well enough, but ultimately felt it was just another unnecessary reboot after getting past my "F the trolls" enjoyment of it. So far this looks like it'll be joining it but as an unnecessary sequel instead of a reboot. I certainly hope the full movie remembers Ghostbusters was a comedy.

this bothers me most of all.
I really, really, really liked this new Ghostbusters trailers,
But I don't want that side of the internet to think this movie is necessary because the female-led Ghostbusters was bad (it wasn't).

Spotted Julia Garner in the list of videos at the end of the Antlers trailer... this looks delightfully creepy:

So much so you made that a double post

Hah! I confess, I am a filthy skimmer.

Well, she deserves two posts. She's awesome in Ozark.

Promising Young Woman and Antlers look like some great creepy times, too.

Why has no one posted this yet?! I gotta do everything around here? Sheesh!

I’ve watched this four times already. I cannot WAIT for this movie. Never saw the show, but I know the soundtrack quite well.
