Interstellar. Christopher Nolan. Nov 7 2014.

There isn't much info yet other than that "the film will depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding" and an interesting announcement that Paramount is handling domestic distribution and WB is doing international. But I'm a Nolan fan and would love to see him do a space film, so excited is my default mode for this.

I can't wait. The dark knight rises was a small step backwards in quality but still a good movie.

So it's Star Wars then.

There's a website up now

only 484 days to go!

Didn't Ridley Scott just do this?

Yeah, but maybe this one will be good.

And who gets tired of seeing actors go crazy in deep space?

No one. No one, ever.

Some more details on the movie website:

In the future, governments and economies across the globe have collapsed, food is scarce, NASA is no more, and the 20th Century is to blame. A mysterious rip in spacetime opens and it's up to whatever is left of NASA to explore and offer up hope for mankind.

Mainly based on the scientific theories and script treatment of renowned theoretical physicist, Kip Thorne. Interstellar is set to be released in late 2014.

Premise sounds unoriginal, but I'm still a sucker for this.

However, sci-fi based on actual scientific theories? I won't hold my breath, even for you Nolan!

edit: 358 days to go.

First teaser trailer has arrived!

Oooh. I'm curious.

Well, at least it didn't spoil the entire plot. A proper teaser!

Love sci-fi!

spoiler: the entire film is McConaughey driving around ruminating on the destiny of mankind.

Arise!

Looks awesome.

agreed. Great trailer!

I'm guessing this trailer is getting shown in front of Godzilla. I think I'll wait to see it on the big screen.

Looks like Christopher Nolan film alright. Goofy nonsense drenched in smug condescension. I think I'll pass.

But thus far no indication of how stark male professionalism is somehow thrown askew by female involvement.

Looks pretty cool to me but I love space stuff

I need more than what they're showing.

Matthew Mcconaughey is all I need! Cannot wait to see this

End-of-the-world scenario with space travel? That's like a PB&J sandwich of awesome. Sign me up.

This. He's been amazing lately.

New trailer up on the website, which for some reason you need an access code to see. Luckily, it's 7201969.

It's probably coming to YouTube soon as well.

Really great trailers! Can't wait!

I'm not liking his voice in this one, or the trailer anyway.

They should have sent a film-studies major.

I know Nolan probably has a twist up his sleeve but I feel like that last trailer pretty much told the movie... I hate that trend out of Hollywood lately...
