Happy Hump Day Survey!

What? "Movie Scenes"? Plural? >.>

Probably the one that left the most permanent impression on my mind is the scene in The Good Shepherd where Matt Damon's character has his son's fiancee murdered by being thrown out of the hatch of an airplane.

Do scenes from Half Baked count?

This takes place at a great height and sets a new low at the same time!

I *knew* Cliffhanger would pop up here.

For me:

Have no idea why I couldn't find a good quality version of this. The only one I could find was German dubbed.

Do TV shows count? I saw the Twilight Zone episode, Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, when I was a kid and it left quite the impression on me.

Here's an abbreviated version of it.

The full episode can be seen here.

Ok, this one fits with both this week's and last week's question.

Ha! Well, it's certainly one of the most immitated scenes I do think of this nearly every time I fly.

I was going to say Cliffhanger as well. Instead I'll put this here since I just saw it recently. The scene being the entire movie really.

Come on, kids.

No Ticket!

Damn it! I knew there was a better Indiana Jones scene, but I couldn't think of it! Nice one.

How about the one where Edward the Longshanks tosses the dude out the window?

Technically they're on the ground during the no ticket part though. :p

Bah, they're still above the ground while inside the blimp! IT COUNTS!

How about up in the tall tower?

That was going to be mine. Winner.

Easy:

That's an excellent TZ episode.

I have no idea why but this scene has stuck with me for many years.

since someone else mentioned one that applies to last week and this week, I'm gonna say The Lion King (fav Disney movie) fight between Simba and Scar:

Also just one of the coolest looking fight scenes at any altitude:

Seriously? A whole page of responses and not this? I don't even know you people any more.

The ending of North by Northwest.

I'm going to have to go with my favorite as the belltower scene in Vertigo:

And a second from another classic of American cinema:

Look, I did my part.

This one starts high...

Yay! I thought of a good one.
