NFL 2013: Week 13

Which is what makes the non-call on this even more egregious.

This is like the PI in the NE/Carolina game.. but didn't even impact the outcome of the game.. Who gives a sh*t?? Ravens won the game.

Ooo! Can I Female Doggo about that PI call again! Sweet!

I'm headed out the door to travel to KC for the Chiefs/Broncos game at Arrowhead. I have a great brother-in-law taking me to the game.

Can't wait!

They should have to give the pick to the Ravens.

OK, that's simply stupid. This was an individual decision, and there should be individual punishment. If you want to suspend Tomlin for multiple games and fine him $250k, bring the hammer, but a draft pick? That doesn't fit at all.

The article says those within the Steelers org are afraid of losing a pick, I don't see a league source saying that. I'd be surprised if there was the loss of a pick, but because the decision was done by a head coach I can see them considering it. I'm expecting a fine of at least $50,000 but probably more.

On behalf of NE I apologize for that roughing call.

Just because I'm a Bucs fan doesn't mean I don't think it was hilarious when Mike Glennon literally dropped the ball pulling his arm back to pass on 3rd and goal. It will be giffed repeatedly, I'm sure.

From twitter "His hands must have been greasy from those tots..."

Geeze I hate how the Bucs OC calls a run up the middle every 2nd and long. Hope at the very least there is a change there.

Edit: brain fart never mind

But holy crap Josh Gordon!

Damn it, Jacksonville

Whoa. Vikings kick game winner in OT... called off for facemask on offense, 15 yards.

At least it was 3rd down. They can try to make some yards back for a makeable kick again.

And, he misses. Game continues.

At which point Frazier just ran Peterson into the middle of the line, losing a few yards. He was effectively settling for a 50-yarder to decide the game, and, for something that stupid, he should be fired before he can leave the field. I mean, seriously. Matt Cassell has been completely adequate today and just led a game-tying drive at the end of regulation. Throw the ball, get some yards, give your kicker a real chance.

My local station switched from the OT Bears/Vikings game to a Humane Society telethon. Not sure if this somehow symbolic for the Bears.

Interesting home stretch for the Packers. ATL, DAL, PIT, CHI.

Rodgers could maybe come back and they win out and go on one of those fairy tale playoff runs.... or win out and still miss the playoffs

They could also keep losing and draft in the low teens.

I'm afraid they do something in the middle where they just miss out and don't really end up with an elite pick.

If San Diego keeps letting Green-Ellis and Bernard eat five+ yard chunks of field on every run this game might go a lot better than my gut said it would.

Yes! Crabtree with a 60 yard reception. 2nd longest play of the year for the 49ers. Think the offense is going to be fine heading into the playoffs if we can be healthy.

And Denver wins again.

Decker had a career game tonight...4 tds and 150+yds. There was also a 31yrd play Moreno had, he had 4 chiefs on him and still was pushing forward...then why they finally got him down, he started crawling while signalling a first down...dude has some emotions running in him tonight, lol.

Just once so far, but it's plenty:

And yeah, I laughed -- mostly with relief. Up until that point I thought the Panthers were going to give this one away.

In Glennon's defense, I see why Schiano dumped Freeman for him. He's got a good arm and nice touch. His 60-yarder to Jackson was an absolutely beautiful toss.

He's not mobile at all, and he had to work on his progressions, but there's a lot more good there than I figured. That silly fumble hides the fact that Glennon played an OK game against a tough D on the road.

Actually, he's got OK mobility, and has scrambled respectably well on a few occasions. I heard somebody refer to him as having "functional mobility", meaning he can move well in the pocket when he recognizes pressure. Of course, considering his biggest problem is he has godawful pocket presence, the "when he recognizes pressure" thing is a big issue. He takes way too many sacks, and he needs somebody in his headset counting "One Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi THROW THE DAMN BALL BEAKER".

I wasn't expecting Tampa to win, and it really was a case where Carolina is simply a better team. Glennon had a few nice plays and I still think he's worth seeing next year; I just hope Atlanta keeps winning so they don't get Clowney. I did think Tampa's offensive line had a decent day, and they had their best success when they ran right at Kuechly. Make him stand up at the point of attack, take away his mobility. Thought he was pretty well neutralized by doing that. Then again, Lavonte David was pretty invisible today.

Wow. Terrible refs at the end.

I'm gonna do terrible in my pick ems. I went with a bunch of away teams which is always a poor decision, but of the away teams that won I don't think I picked any of them.

I picked all home teams and went 2-3. If I had picked my head instead of my heart for the KC game, I would have been 3-2.

I can never remember what I picked. But I feel like I'm 2-3.
