NFL 2013: Week 9

First back shoulder catch for Dobson all season, I think. Not clear that the Pats D can hold on.

I made bad mistakes in fantasy football today. I was about 30 seconds too late on the roster lock to replace Ryan Matthews with Zac Stacy (FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU) and I dropped Danny Amendola from my flex spot and put in Demarco Murray.

A well deserved loss, by probably 10 points. Stupid bye weeks.

*Marshawn Lynch going monster mode in OT. Frivolous timeout called by Schiano. Milkman probably about to break into his stash of "things to set Schiano on fire with"

Bucs? Your picks are so lame.

Suck it, Stele! That game was Pick'em of the Week.

At least, I think so from watching the scores. I'm on yet another work trip and saw no football today. At least it's the bye week for both the 49ers and Jaguars.

It might have went to OT, but it still ended up being an easy pick. :p

If the Colts win tonight we'll have two people at 5-0. If the Texans win, no one.

Wow. Even with replay they can't get it right. Ball clearly bounces out of his hands on that side angle. Baffling call in favor of Seattle.

Consider it a makeup for the baffling DPI call on Earl Thomas in the first quarter, wherein he 'interfered' by catching a ball that was apparently intended for the offensive player.

Also - what a stupid challenge. If you win, it would be 3rd and 8 instead of 3rd and 5 from well within field goal range.

At 21-0, I was still sure Tampa would lose. Greg Schiano should not be fired; he should be thrown out of the cargo door at 30,000 feet.

Also didn't expect the Steelers, down by 14 at two different points, to make a game of it with the Patriots. I know the Pats aren't what they have been, but the Steelers have been pretty terrible this year.

That surprised me, too.

Then I walked by the TV at work and saw the Pats had hung 55 on the Steelers. Ouch.

Eh, in all fairness, this is just firewood for the stove. Dude earned the FL300 drop with no chute weeks ago.

Where did that Seahawks win come from? Crazy.

I just spit Gatorade all over my bowling teammate, lol

Eh, 3rd and 8 is harder to get than 3rd and 3 or whatever it was. Much better chance of holding them to a FG on 3rd and medium/long.

Andre Johnson could have stopped off to get a cup of coffee on that play and STILL have the defense beat. Wow

Most in Steelers HISTORY. And to think at one point the game was competitive. And then the fantasy points started rolling out.

Re. TB-SEA: I'd forgotten that this was the battle of ex-N.C. State QBs. But the final score did remind me why Dave Doeren is coaching at N.C. State and not Tom O'Brien.

Oh sh*t. Hope Kubiak is ok.

So say we all. Real life has suddenly trivialized the amazing game the Texans are having.

Whoa, that's scary. Hopefully just dehydration or something along those lines.

Some of these Mexican places will eff you up.

I've heard that problem happens too. Have loose bowels and get hit hard... Usually it's a lineman though.

Kidney stone attack is my bet

Gah, used to be the refs would screw you. These days, the rules themselves screw you.

I wondered about that, too.

Probably brought on by all the rich food here, like Mexican.

Did Fleener just jazz hands that two point celebration?

Fat Randy could decide the game. And jazz hands.

Yeah, I think that is him standing by his newly activated teammate Griff Whalen.

My understanding is that Jimmy Fallon made a joke about Griff Whalen being "most likely to celebrate a touchdown with jazz hands" because Griff is somewhat effeminate looking and some people took it as a slight.

Yep.

f*ck f*ck sh*t.

I love Randy Bullock, but is he having an historically bad year? Jeez. Jeez. f*ck.

So Houston fans will demand a new kicker now just like they did with their qb?

Stele wrote:

Right to do so in both cases, I'm afraid.

Randy, I'm sorry. I'll always love you, but this isn't working.

I've been there and collapsing with no idea why is scary as hell. My hopes and prayers go out to Coach Kubiak and his family. Hopefully, it ends up not being serious.

If their kicking change ends up going as well as their QB change appears to be going, then they might as well.
