How does the ACA affect you?

I had coffee with a good friend today. Her brother is epileptic and unable to work, but of course needs health insurance. Before ACA went into effect, the only health insurance they could obtain for him (due to his preexisting condition) was $2300/month. Now it is $84/month.

ETA: a friend of mine who lost his job through no fault of his own (he was funded by the government to do research; that funding was cut) was recently diagnosed with a rare kidney disease. He is getting treatment as well as a kidney transplant thanks to the ACA.

Oh yes, it's not just the U.S. Constitution that sanctions capitalism; every good Christian(ist) knows that Jesus was a capitalist entrepreneur in his heart of hearts.

That's why Jesus turned over the tables of the money changers. Their profit margins were too low and that makes the son of God angry.

The temple courts are for closers!

Wow, that's right out of Ben Bari ben Roth, a famous dramatic poem popular in ancient Judea.

Even funnier than the visual of the Angry Jesus table flip.
