2013 Major League Baseball: World Series- Boston Red Sox vs St. Louis Cardinals

Double post for MORE COWBELL. :p

Yeah DJ Kitty has been around forever and it cool! Also cowbells are not noisemakers per say. I have a bunch of them including Rays world series ones from the WS games!

Yeah I also really dislike the stadium. The catwalk, the left and right far outfields do not face to the plate, the 2nd level and luxury boxes can't see fly balls, the list goes on.

WOW!

Way to get out of the jam, Rays.

Bold move by Maddon changing pitchers in the 2nd. Love it.

Geeze, Victorino has his whole body over the plate, that is kinda bs.

Finally a run.

Rodney has really struggled sometimes this year. None more important than tonight.

Well. Got to get out of another jam.

And then score one. Preferably two to win because we're about out of pitchers.

EDIT: Dammit.

This topic should say postseason now Kush. ;)

And now, it does

Go Sox!

Downtown will be hopping tonight. Not only are the Cards and Pirates playing, but the Blues are taking on the Blackhawks at Scottrade, too. Kind of a shame they are on at the same time. If the Braves could have held on, then the Cards game would have been early.

I never knew!!! They certainly got some momentum going.

Now please crush the Dodgers.

Argh, the St. Louis Cardinals and their postseason proficiency.

Sorry to see the Pirates season end so unceremoniously. Now the only "underdog" left to root for are the A's.

Booooo!

So bummed about the Pirates.

Go Dodgers, go A's.

Dodgers/Sox would be an interesting series, in light of the personnel swap.

Tell me about it. The Cardinals have won enough. I hate the Red Sox as a division rival and they just took out my team. The Dodgers acted so silly the other night with the champagne and my dad's a big Braves fan. Detroit is Detroit... general dislike of all things Detroit after the Brawl (Pacers fan) and that nonsense with Schwartz a couple years ago (49ers fan).

So... after process of elimination, go Oakland.

This should make you guys feel better.

Admittedly, that was a satisfying read. Although, if I'm being honest, I don't think it's very fair or accurate. As much as I'm tired of the Cardinals (with their winning and their endless stream of top prospects), it's a great organization and a great fan base.

I will despise Yadier Molina and Adam Wainwright forever for what they did to my Mets in '06, but the franchise and its fans are nowhere near as horrible as the Yankees and their minion.

Things keep getting worse and worse. All the teams that wear yellow are gone!

"I wish the Dodgers could sweep them in one game, so that the world can move on from Cardinals Nation's unending love affair with itself."

Oh God that's perfect.

You're welcome! Now LA & Tigers need to win, then we can have an all blue World Series

Beltran!

Beltran!

Not a double post!

Bases loaded, one out, and Wacha strikes out Puig and Uribe!

Wacha, Wacha, Wacha!

And THAT is a winner! Cards up 2-0, beating both Grienke and Kershaw? I'll take it!

And without using Wainwright yet, to boot!

You know, 2 hours and 40 minutes is kind of long for a 1-0 games. So can someone tell me how the hell the ALCS 1-0 game went four hours?

Weird game all around. Pitcher had a no-hitter going and was pulled after the 6th. Pitch count was already at about 115.

Grand Slam in the bottom of the 8th to tie a 5-1 deficit. Got to be kidding me.

Well, if St. Louis can close out LA, I'd like to see Boston for payback from 2004. If we get Detroit, it will be them looking for payback.

....Yeah. Yeah, I don't know what to say about that. That whole inning was just ridiculous.
