So Half-Life 2 is free on Steam, but I can't get it and it says "no licenses." What does this mean?

Worked for me. I assume too many people tried to get it at once?

I dunno, it's been that way on my end for a few days.

On GreenMan Gaming can get 40% off of Silent Hill 2 (for Steam).

Comes with 2 codes for mystery games. In my case two throw-away games "Next Up Hero" and "Quarantine".

But you also get a 20% off code for any version of Stalker 2. A 18% off code for any version of Monster Hunter: Wilds. And a 3% code you can use on your next game.

I did check, and you can't use more than one code per game. So can't add the additional 3% code to the Stalker or Monster Hunter codes.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is $20 on Amazon, which is $10 lower than its ever been on there

Looks like PSVR2 with Horizon is $250 off everywhere today.

About 5 hours in on Diablo iv. Any reason to buy the expansion, it’s on sale now—or does it come into play after the main game is beaten?

Thank you! Chad

The story content doesn't kick in until after main game. However, if you fancy doing seasonal stuff, you can get to rocking on that stuff asap.

If you're a Diablo fan and expect you'll play a couple hundred hours over a few years and several classes, go for it. If you're just dipping your toe into Diablo and think you may just do the main story, I'd hold off until you see if it sinks its claws in.

I have about 200hrs in on Xbox over 1.5 years and am extremely casual. I keep coming back because it is so simple and easy to pick up for 30-40 minutes when put back down.

Thank you. I’m not much of a seasonal player but I’m sure I’ll finish the main story and DLC. Hmm

If you get the expansion, you can also roll a new class and go directly into the expansion story. So don't feel locked into what you have if you want to experience the new Spiritborn class as well.

Thank you. Perhaps a dumb question, if I am playing through the story and I reroll a character, do I have to start the story over and, if not, is my new character level 1 or the same level as my old character?

Would be level 1. Can't speak to story, but I think you can choose whether to skip the main campaign. I highly doubt you'd start at same spot of campaign (ie, Step L of A-Z steps or whatever).

What would carry over are some of the unlocks (aspects for various classes earned by completing specific dungeons, Altars of Lilith discovered, region names discovered, any Paragon points which don't unlock until level 60).

You can start the base game story or go directly to the expansion story. You will start at level 1.

Sorry thought I was posting in finished games..?

Humble Bundle has a good bundle now: Sci-Fi Shooters
- System Shock (remake)
- Dark Forces Remastered
- Crysis 1 Remastered
- Crysis 2 Remastered
- Crysis 3 Remastered
- Prey (2017)
- Doom (2016)

I bought it for Crysis remasters and System Shock. Already gifted the rest.

Another good thing about Humble Bundle is that if you stick with HB Choice for 12 months in a row, they give you 20% on pretty much everything in their store (17% after 6 months). So, I can buy Stalker 2 at 20% off right now, for example. That one game discount on its own almost pays for one month of Humble Bundle Choice (it's $19 monthly, and 20% off Stalker 2 is $16)... Really good if you want to get an expensive game early, or when there is no better discounts. I got 20% off Spess Mehreen 2 pre-order that way too.

Fanatical has Bethesda sale. Among other things, Starfield is 47% off... Still not willing to pay for it, but it's a decent discount.

I have the silly tangent related to that game. Every time I see the weapon I'm reminded of a youtube video for a song. It had a person holding a similar one in a static image. I can't remember anything about the song except that I liked it a lot. So now it's genuinely lost to me.

If you have Prime, then Shogun Showdown - much beloved on this forum - is free. Elite Dangerous, too.

Also, pretty good Humble bundle here. Dome Keeper, Skald, Norco, Snufkin and Sable, among others.

That was timely. I came close to buying it a week ago after trying the demo.

Pixel art plus cards make it an instant miss for me, unfortunately. My biases are extreme.

I purchased that when it was on sale a couple of months ago, and still haven’t fired it up. You’re welcome, everyone.

Brotato is free on Epic

I’ve been ignoring the hype for this but at this price guess I might as well try it out myself!

Good lord. I would hate to be the Viscera Cleanup Detail guy for that game.

As of this morning Tears of the kingdom both physical and digital are 30 at Walmart. Great deal
