Video Game Deals Catch-All

Feels like I got KF2 free some other time. But still not sure I ever played it. Loved the first though

GRIS is on sale on Steam for $1.50. If you haven't played it, this is the perfect time.

"GRIS" is Spanish for "grey." The game is an abstract allegory about depression, but it is not depressing.

That team's new game Neva was just released:

If you already own Gris on Steam, Neva is included in a bundle with it on the Neva product page. Because of that, you can get a discount ($20->$17) when you buy it "bundled."

Railbound is at it's best price ever over on gamersgate for $5.84.

Also, on the same site, if you've ever been interested in The Surge for $1.79 and The Surge 2 for $5.52 or both for $6.62. I enjoyed both, especially because of their unique severe parts to collect materials with no RNG, and found each has their strengths about the game. Some complained the bosses were hard enough to quit in the 2nd, but I didn't run into that too much, playing a while after release.

Freeeeee PC games for the week! Looks like Amazon has quite the edge

Epic
Moving Out (Rerun)

Amazon/Twitch Prime
Monster Train
Pumpkin Jack
STASIS: BONE TOTEM
The Gunk
Morbid: The Seven Acolytes
Gargoyles Remastered
Killing Floor 2
Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol
Mystery Box: Hidden Secrets
SCARF

Oh Monster Train!
The Gunk!

Free games that are actually on my wishlist

Right now GeForce NOW has a deal where you get 6months of the Ultimate service and Dragon's Age: Veilguard for $100.

Very tempted. It looks like 6 months is normally $50 but Veilguard is $70 so it is a bit of savings but it seems like a good way to test if I like GeForce NOW and play a game I am interested in.

Anybody have opinions?

Great timing! I was looking for a new game like this to play.

It’s running quite well on my Steam Deck. I installed GoG Galaxy through Lutris and the game through Galacy so my game progress/save would sync properly to my other devices.

Oxenfree 2 is $2 on Switch for the week!

Not sure if it's as good as the first, 84 metacritic, but for that price I have to try it.

Weekly free PC game roundup:

Epic
Witch It
Ghostwire: Tokyo (Rerun)

Twitch/Amazon Prime
A Plague Tale: Innocence
Death's Door
Scorn
Coromon
Haunted Hotel: Personal Nightmare - CE

Feel kinda bad cause I bought Death's Door with a coupon on Epic a while ago and still haven't played it

Deaths door is really really good.

Quite! Finished it on Switch a couple years ago.

Plague Tale is pretty good too. Although it's been free on PS+ already and maybe somewhere else too for the first one

Epic has the deluxe add-on of Alan Wake 2 on sale for $10 (usually $20). That gets you both DLC/expansions.

Humble Bundle has a nice Horror bundle with Little Nightmares 1 and 2 plus some Dark Pictures game. I'm not clear on whether all the DLC is included with the two Little Nightmare games. I believe it does as the Little Nightmare comes with the Maw Expansion and the Steam store description suggests Nightmare 2 DLC is included with the Deluxe Edition which is part of the bundle.
Intrigued. I've heard good things about those Nightmare games. Any impressions to share?

Bonus freebies today from Twitch/Amazon Prime! https://gaming.amazon.com/home

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy
Mafia: Definitive Edition

GotG is so great. Already have it on PS5 disc

Fanatical have.... quite a bundle going on for Movember.. Including Rogue Trader which I bought less than a week ago for quite a bit more than the entire cost of this bundle.. £11.99 (not sure in other currencies)

This bundle features games including the simply brilliant The Gunk, SteamWorld Build, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, American Truck Simulator, Chivalry 2, Panzer Corps 2, Hello Neighbor and so much more.

Ooh.

Got the Gunk already. But Steamworld, Rogue Trader, interesting...

Wow.. and that bundle is already out of stock. That was a crazy deal though... sad I missed it.

PC Freebies of the week!

Epic
Deceive Inc.

Amazon/Twitch Prime
Disney•Pixar Cars
Dishonored: Definitive Edition
Snakebird Complete
Close to the Sun
Duck Paradox

Deceive is a repeat apparently.

But the Amazon stuff looks good this week. 1 or 2 of those might have been Epic freebies before too.

If you like puzzle games, Snakebird is really good. The complete edition includes Snakebird Primer, which is easier levels, and the original Snakebird, which is pretty challenging.

Vampire Hunters is on sale I think on multi-platforms. I got it on Xbone, it's a nutty Vampire Survivors FPS type game.

Castlevania Anniversary collection next week on Epic. First time I've been excited in a while.

Trese Brothers bundle is $30ish on Steam at the moment.
Cyberknights flashpoint
Star Traders frontiers
Heroes of Steel
Templar Battleforce

Or $20 for just Cyberknights

I've got it on the Switch. It's a pretty solid collection of games.

Yeah it's great. I got it for the Xbone and Switch when it was $5. I'm still amazed what they could pull on the Genesis with Bloodlines.

Semi-related, the new Vampire Survivors Castlevania DLC sends that game from insane to, well, more insane. They said they didn't add achievements for it in case the license isn't renewed, so people don't have to worry about not getting 100% on it. I've been playing tons of it, and I don't think I'm anywhere near 100%.

Baldur's Gate 3 is on sale on Steam again this week. Just 20% off but still, matching the biggest discount in the first year. With it this close to BF already, it may not go cheaper this year.

Until Monday.

We got us a new fresh crop of PC freebie games right here!

Epic
Castlevania Anniversary Collection
Snakebird Complete (Rerun)

Twitch/Amazon Prime
Tomb Raider: Anniversary
Blade of Darkness
Chasm: The Rift
Ms. Holmes: The Case of the Dancing Men - CE
House of Golf 2

If you are in the market for a PC handheld; Bestbuy/Amazon have the Ally Z1 extreme for 500 dollars.
