This looks pretty awesome. It looks like Crimson Skies HRTR mixed with 3D Time Pilot

I really love this game. Much better than Kingdom Rush, even (my previous favorite tower-defense-ish game). Not sure why, but somehow the idea of being in motion and building and upgrading your "towers" (guardians) around you is really appealing to me.

Better than Kingdom Rush? You're on!

You had my hopes up but I don't see any Crimson Skies in that at all. From that trailer there are no physics or "flying" involved.

I see some. Diesel-punk, planes landing on dirigibles, funky styled plane shapes, etc. Definitely not the same style of game or characters, but a related aesthetic. It looks worth a try.

Crimson Skies HRTR (high road to revenge) not Crimson Skies. The arcade shooter for Xbox not the PC sim.
I see a lot of the plane customization mechanics (if not more so) a long with the find a new base that becomes the next story/quest hub.

This is pretty awesome, but I don't recognize any of those games or developers. Does anyone have any feedback on any of those games?

Nuclear Throne is a really fun action twin-stick rogue.

A Mortician's Tale is an interesting game about the life of a mortician and humanizing exploration of the life/death cycle.

The Fallen tells the tale of civilians pulled into a war and skirmishes they don't want.

Totem is an interesting strat game about being a deity and having followers worship you.

People Farm is a strange Orwellian life sim where people are like animals that you have to care for.

Hmm, my game history list says I played both but don't recall the differences. I just remember really liking them.

That looks pretty big bundle, happy to help for all the troubles of independent developers being left out. Is there any page to read a mini review of some of these games, without trying every one of them, at least to look at my preferences of games.....
Thanks!!! let's help!

Epic Games Spring 2020 Sale for the next two weeks. Don't forget about that $10 coupon (off $15 minimum, some restrictions apply) from the winter sale you probably still have, which expires on May 1.

Hmmm. I really want to grab Control, but I'd rather get it for PS4. What to do...

New Epic Freebies are also up:
Gone Home
Hob
Drawful 2
and since I have an office-mate for our work from home thing we tried out Totally Reliable Delivery Service and having lots of giggles between stressing.

Nice. I've wanted to play Hob.

Hob is fantastic! You're in for a treat!

Turok is so 1997 it hurts...but like so good hurts. Spent an hour in there this morning and it's hilarious to play. Good luck trying to save though. That took most of the end time I spent in it.

Drawful 2 is also free on Steam until April 11.

Do I finally get Rebel Galaxy Outlaw for $12? Or do I wait and get it on Switch where I know I can actually get time to play it more?

EDIT: It does count $14.99 games. So bang for buck, new or still full price games on best discount:

Far Cry 5 at 75% off, 14.99
Vampyr 70% off at 14.99
Borderlands 3 50% off at 29.99
Metro Exodus 50% to 19.99
Ass Creed Odyssey 67% off to 19.79
Ass Creed Origins 75% to 14.99
Watch Dogs 2 70% off to 17.99

Any strong recommendations from those?

There aren't a lot of space sims on the Switch, right? I'd wait and get it there.

Ass Creed Odyssey 67% off to 19.79

This game I played during the Stadia trial and got 40 plus hours in there. too long to get my free copy and moved on. My wife got it for me on PS4 and I dove back in from the beginning and am now 50 hours in and just barely scratching the surface. The game has legs on legs on loops on more loops and it's fantastic. Just make sure you pick Kassandra it's the only way to Asscreed.

I’m super tempted by Borderlands 3 for $20 but there’s little guarantee I’ll play it, so I’m holding off. For now.

I picked up Manifold Garden for $6 (with my coupon). I do like a weird-space puzzle game.

I'm not a huge AC fan, but I liked Odyssey. It's much closer in structure to The Witcher 3 than to previous AC games, but it's not as janky as The Witcher 3 is. It's worth trying.

If you have a left over coupon from the winter sale you can also pick up Journey to the Savage Planet for around 8 bucks.

Thinking of grabbing Mechwarrior 5 for $30. Has it improved since its release? I heard that your AI partners were pretty much useless.

I actively dislike Assassin's Creed games, but utterly LOVED Odyssey. No stupid Assassin/Templar mythology BS to get shoved down my throat (well, barely), no dumb escort missions, no forced "stealth or fail" crap, fun combat, great voice acting, beautiful scenery, fun boating mechanics, all the climbing in the game is just easy and you go up without having to find that one, perfect @#$!! path, and something that resembled a good story. One of my favorite games of the current generation easily.

Anyone tried Vampyr on GeForce Now? Steam is the only listed platform for that game in the GFN app. Some games are listed separately for each digital storefront, but I've heard it doesn't always matter which one you select when you add it to your library.

IDK my horse keeps ending up climbing trees and posts when i dismount so we have hope the jank is coming!

Xbox weekly sale is up, including games I am considering buying, Divinity: Original Sin 2 for $30 and Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen for $12.

Diablo 3 for Switch is on sale for $30. Worth it? Played a ton on PC since release but haven't touch it in a few years.

My wife loves it handheld. I may grab second copy so we can do multiplayer handheld.
