Reminder to actually redeem your Steam keys from humble. Looks like I let a couple of the most recent free games expire. No Grid 2 for me after all.

That's incredible. I've put over 1000 hours into that game, and over 1000 into AoW2. Make sure you pick up the Eternal Lords expansion that completes it.

Yeah, Humble's giveaway keys usually time out quite quickly. For AoW3 the key needs to be redeemed by May 16th at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

Nice list. May make me break my "no purchases outside of Steam Sales" rule.

Minecraft Java version is having a sale for the first time in, what, 5 years? Its $16.95 (normally $26 I think). I've bought Minecraft on many other platforms but never the OG so I figured it was about time.

Minecraft for Switch is on sale too at 33% off. I went ahead and bought it and now I finally get to play Minecraft!

I bought he original java version when it was in Alpha and certainly got my money’s worth.

The sale on the Switch version definitely has me interested in double dipping.

Me too! I got a code if someone missed out =/

Snakeybus is in it's release sale on Steam at the moment. $9, basically. A chill-out game based on the old Snake game that adds in Crazy Taxi passenger consumption elements. As you eat passengers, more sections get added to your bus, and you need avoid running into yourself, or terrain. Great, silly, relaxing fun!

I think I nearly threw up from watching that.

I know, right? Even the GIF is fun!

I don't think I'd ever seen a first-person version of Snake before. My mind is blown.

Oohhh, so you've played it? Does it scratch that Crazy Taxi itch?

It's lighter than Crazy Taxi. Eat people, then periodically dump them off at a selected location. Repeat. I would not say it's the same, but it's similar. Vaguely so. It's just... A chill-out game.

Epic is having a pretty huge sale. Most things are on sale and Epic is applying an extra $10 off basically everything on top of that. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-U...

Some real steals there.

Satisfactory for $20.
Oxygen not Included for $9
Hades for $7

I grabbed Ashen for $20 without knowing much about it
and My Time at Portia for $13
Thinking about Metro Exodus for $35

I played Ashen earlier this year on Xbox and adored it. It's an interesting mix of Dark Souls-like combat and more open area exploration. It also has a seamless Journey-style drop-in, drop-out multiplayer co-op mechanic that's really interesting.

That sounds interesting

I'll plug Satisfactory. It's a really fun mix between Factorio and Subnautica.
Building supply chains which increase in complexity while trying to be as efficient as possible.
It's a work in progress with a road map, but I'd say that everything already in the game is good.

Looks like it works for preorders, too. Time to get Bloodlines, I think.

It's also retroactive for pre-orders and anything already purchased in May, IIRC.

I ended up getting Satisfactory and Rollercoaster Tycoon Adventures because I'd been eyeing both of them fairly recently. I considered grabbing Subnautica: Below Zero but I hopped into the original so early in it's development that I got spoiled on everything LONG before release... so I think I'm going to wait on that to prevent tempting me to hop in and check it out early.

Dammit! Rebel Galaxy Outlaw isn't available for preorder yet. Nor is Outer Worlds. Borderlands 3 is, though I think I'm going to wait for a while on that.

Satisfactory is great at $20. Oxygen Not Included is a steal at $9 and Subnautica even more so, at $7.50 (if you didn't get it for free already).

John Wick Hex can be preordered for $8. Donut County is historically low at $8.70.

Subnautica Below Zero at 6,79 euro (or whatever fiat money you use) - I dont like Early access, but it is probably still a good price, even if you don't play it until it releases.

Walking Dead: Final Season - 5 euro

Guacamelee STCE is free on Humble until May 19 @ 10AM Pacific, and to be redeemed before May 23rd.

And that's exactly what I did. The more John Wick in my life, the better.
